We Need an Army to protect us from Them

    By

    James Bredin

If we need an army, it should be to protect us from them,
Our entrenched for life politicians we cannot condemn,
Because they made the proper appointments for their protection,
Where no free votes are allowed, term limits or rejection.

And our army should limit them to their second term,
Though power the ultimate aphrodisiac they affirm,
And all their appointees should be questioned at length,
About vested interests, connections and where the money went.

Serious series of sponsorship scandals and arrears,
Inquiries into ethics for the last eleven years,
Secret silent contracts from the correct connection,
And returned to the party to bankroll an election.

Large loopholes allow lecherous lounge lizards to win,
And after the election they are seldom seen again,
They think and talk and walk in lock step with the party leader,
Or go back to their old job as a meter reader.

As we listen to the voice of the instant translator,
And the crooked system revealed by their manipulator,
And then denied by this sanctimonious lot,
They say it’s all old history and it should be forgot.

Unfortunately we’re trapped in status quo management,
No changes allowed in their muzzled mismanagement,
We only have to wait for the next incident of shame,
We need the army and changes to avoid more of the same.

Kicked off a Web Site -- not this one

    By

    James Bredin

Web sites have certain obvious features and conditions,
They’re like religions related to their own traditions,
Expressing their politics and policies out loud,
Where radical other ideas are seldom allowed.

An expression of human nature where we find our own,
With the same ideas, the same traditions and clone,
But now in multiculturalism it’s all denied,
You’re banned from our holy web site someone cried.

Excommunicated for breaking rules and conditions,
That no one ever read even after their admissions,
But the righteous claim to know all these new rules,
And they’re waiting, impatient for fundamental fools.

Someone who belongs to that web site inquisition,
Gets to decide and deny your input permission,
So you better watch out and behave yourself old man,
Your ideas can’t change things and only they can.

    Where Are We Going?

    By

    James Bredin

    Multicultural bisexual politicians?
    Attempting to change Canadian conditions?
Gutless Grits of course getting the Supreme Court to enforce,
Then pompously push the parliament to endorse.

And you wonder where and why we are headed,
Is the complete control of this dictatorship dreaded?
Without referendums or recall to slow them down,
We’re locked in their power and we can’t even frown.

They’re the socialist tsunami that will gobble us up,
And the gay guys may not tell us when they have enough?
Would lounge lizard Liberal lesbians ever lie?
About teaching their lifestyles in schools and defy.

As they all claim that this is really a Charter subject,
They have a right to publish this and deserve our respect,
Are we are so blind and helpless not to see this crisis?
Will they soon have us worshiping a god called Isis?

    George Bush visit to Canada

    By

    James Bredin

The upcoming George Bush visit should be a wake-up call,
Trapped by the socialist-Liberals as we just crawl,
    Frown on security-economic integration,
Liberals prefer Kyoto and United Nations.

They are leery of strong leadership such as George Bush,
Who won’t accept their propaganda and they can’t push,
Prefer some wishy-washy weasel type of guy,
Where refugees and terrorists could easily defy.

They want to call all international socialist shots,
And we are all going to Africa to help the have-nots,
Or maybe Haiti because they may need help too,
While we the poor people don’t seem to have a clue.

And climate change is coming and the sky could fall,
All refugees are in at the next amnesty call,
Socialist goody-two-shoe types with all of their kin,
Their same-sex stuff will pass soon but we don’t know when.

But why not an improvement on our NAFTA type merger,
Something the Liberals look on as perjure,
Where all our people could move or work here or there,
But this would put the Liberals in deep despair.

    Canadian Moral Values

    By

    James Bredin

Carolyn Parrish hates the Americans with a passion,

In her dippy do dad left-wing place, this is the fashion,

Hates George Bush too though he is the American boss,

Does Parrish make policy and could this be our loss?

I myself would like to celebrate George’s reelection,

With the moral-value guys who made the selection,

The Liberals of course see this as oncoming doom,

As we all move over to give the refugees more room.

These international socialists have their own agenda,

Pumped out every day in Liberal propaganda,

Goody-two-shoe righteous types with their own book of rules,

Want us in Africa running around like UN fools.

Because they’re pampered in Ottawa by Liberal friends,

Pay the ransom to Quebec and all those socialist trends,

Call it “equalization” or some other nice name,

As we look on and they drag us down their Liberal drain.

These sad shameless jet-setting spineless Adscam slobs,

Airheads and windbags in lock step appointing other snobs,

To make their own righteous moral value decisions,

About freedom of choice, ethics and marriage revisions.

And we can only be mesmerized by their actions,

Movement of money revealed in adscam transactions,

We’re not allowed referendums, term limits or recall

It’s their status quo they maintain and stuff it to us all.

    Terrorists Arrive Every Night

    By

    James Bredin

Why would they refuse to name all these criminals and thieves?

Are they in league with refugees and terrorists who deceive?

Why should they hide all this from Canadians who want to know?

Why should this Liberal government behave so wretched and low?

Thousands of these deportee refugees have long gone over the fence,

Is it possible that our politicians could be so dense?

Why can’t they give the names or the reason terrorist stay hidden?

Or is it something their immigration lawyers have forbidden?

Why are these criminals and terrorists all arriving here?

Because they’re never held in custody and they have no fear,

They’re trying to escape justice and find an easy place to live,

And they heard Canadian immigration is like a sieve.

Is it possible that Canadians might change things around?

Put these thieves and terrorists in jail so they can’t make a sound.

Force these politicians to reveal their secret agenda,

But we can’t do that because we’re not allowed referenda.

Their terrorist organizations have lots of lawyers and rights,

Waiting to set up camp when they’re given or get the green light,

They like this political arena and they’re going to stay,

‘Cause now they can evade all justice and never go away.

Respect for leftist politicians gets lower and lower,

And ethics if they ever had any gets slower and slower?

The evidence is there at the airport every single night,

As they claim refugee status coming in on every flight.

    Canadian Conflict of Interest

    By

    James Bredin

Socialist shenanigans showed the system in Shawinigan,

No subpoenas or inquiries so they’re sure they’re in again,

Constant pompous propaganda would make Pravda look puny,

Pushed piously in their papers as they tax and spend the loonie.

Their legacy of lechery will be very loud and long,

A memory of their history with a stench that is strong,

Their appointed co-conspirators just stuck to them like glue,

Conflict of interest is not a crime when they say that it’s true.

The ethics and their conduct was an obvious conspiracy,

We need to change the system soon or loose this democracy,

Referendums and recall to stop skullduggery lke this,

And maybe recall of politicians to instead of a kiss.

    The Access Act Arrangements

    By

    James Bredin

Chretien and his clan set up a scheme to keep the people out,

To hide and conceal what he and his Liberals were all about,

They called it the Access Act to censor and stop and conceal

What they didn’t want to answer and not ever reveal.

This Access Act was just a cover for their censorship show,

Prevent and delay the public from knowing what they should know,

Used scores of civil servants in these thankless arduous tasks,

And pompously pretended they were busy behind their masks.

They called themselves coordinators of communications,

A fancy name for censorship to prevent implications,

Contentious issues should die or never see the light of day,

Nothing that might embarrass their politicians on display.

They viewed transparency as tantamount to treachery,

Prevent the people from seeing corruption or lethargy,

The cronyism of curious contracts should be concealed,

And secret shenanigans shredded in case they were revealed.

Do Canadians have the right to know the political truth?

Is that such an awful question or am I showing uncouth?

Do Canadian politicians have something awful lot to hide?

‘Bout Bombardier or Shawinigan that only they decide?

Is democracy for Canadians an impossible dream?

No recall or referendums in this dictatorship scheme,

Can’t vote for a prime minister or inquire ‘bout a judge,

Even if he/she has a special interest or secret grudge.

    Questions about Conflict of Interest

    By

    James Bredin

Why do we have an abundance of crooked politicians?

Why was everything okay when they were in opposition?

Why this conflict of interest when they formed the majority?

Why did they parade their crooked pride and push their authority?

Why were their actions and manipulations so well hidden?

In the Access Act where whistle blowers are strictly forbidden?

Why is whistle blowing considered such a great sin by them?

Why should they completely depend for their appointments on him?

Why do they fly for freebies and fortune from their wealthy friends?

Travel in jet planes to lodges driving fancy Mercedes Benz?

Why do accusations mean nothing when the fix is in?

Do appointees listen to the strains of a soft violin?

Why can’t conflict of interest claims stop this corruption?

Would an inquiry cause such political disruption?

Why do those who should fix things move so very very slow?

Why no referendums or recall for Tom, Dick or Joe?

Was his tiny little red book no more than a big red lie?

To entice honest Canadians with dreams of pie in the sky?

Was their ethics appointee no more than an expensive sham?

Given no power to stop those who didn’t give a damn?

Did those cabinet members have their hands in the cookie jar?

Did some fax their apologies as benign but bizarre?

Should crooked politicians have no set election dates?

Were their reports all hidden in fear of honest debates?

Is this another example of his Shawinigan sting?

Is money being moved quietly while we sleep and they swing?

Will they continue to behave as though nothing is wrong?

Without set dates or referendums will we be forced to go along?

    Change the Constitution

    By

    James Bredin

Compulsory voting is probably against their rights,

It would no doubt cause problems for Liberal types,

They like their organized minority to be left in charge,

Better then proportional representation by en large.

The history of strong parties is written in the books,

German, Russian and Chinese if one cares to look,

Therefore proportional representation is the way to go,

So that the tyranny of the minority is kept quite low.

Because political parties have only one goal in mind,

To prolong their stay and appoint all their own kind,

Stick to the status quo and no term limits allowed,

Pump those paid-for surveys that show they’re endowed.

Binding referendums should also be in vogue,

To avoid a long-term prime minister turning into a rogue,

Can we ever change their Chretien/Trudeau Charter?

Written by them back in the days of Jimmy Carter?

    Let’s Dollarize the Loonie

    By

    James Bredin

If the loonie goes up to a dollar let’s dollarize,

Europeans adapted the euro so they realize,

Small currencies are subject a speculation squeeze,

Since the $loonie sometimes slides like it has a dread disease.

The Florida snowbirds want it up while others want it down,

While speculators with the hedge funds are watching profound,

They push it up or drive it down while there’s money to be made,

Canadians are captured with $reason to be afraid.

‘Cause politicians all say, “The fundamentals are in place,”

Afraid to do the dollarize while lying in your face,

They go through to all the fancy functions flying here and there,

But they too use US dollars and keep $loonies as spare.

He’s still traveling the world as though nothing will ever change,

Someone should stop and tell him that it’s all been rearranged.

Those trained-seal Liberals of course deserve just what they get,

They allowed the ego to be leader so now he can’t forget,

No inquiry allowed into the missing billion dollars,

No conflict of interest in Shawinigan among those scholars.

If he wants to stay that bad at least we should ask him why,

How could the missing billion dollars disappear in the sky?

And the Shawinigan shenanigans; what happened there?

And what about those contracts in Quebec or should we even care?

That Governor General lady and exalted few,

They travel and spend millions and you should show respect,

‘Cause they’re above politics and don’t care who you elect.

Because they travel the world with their servants and maids,

Hats off and bow your heads at their pompous parades,

Don’t you recognize that they’re aristocrats and gentry?

And they will do anything if it’s complementary.

Your taxes will go up ‘cause their travels are expensive,

Please don’t look glum cause it’s all so comprehensive,

    A Lean Jean Lousy Legacy

Jean: I hear you had another caucus meeting with friends,

You want to stay as prime minister and buck all the trends,

They say that your shelf life has expired and long gone,

And you are now irrelevant and you just don’t belong.

I hear you read reports with no interest in what they said,

Want to push some of your lousy legislation instead,

And democracy as far as you are concerned is dead,

You don’t understand that your opposition is widespread.

They insulted you and said the emperor had no clothes,

And you threatened another snap election just to teach those,

And then they laughed even louder and the meeting froze,

Paul Martin had a meeting too and his influence grows.

Hidden in the Access Act, entombed where they’re sent,

Appointees and commissioners with fancy titles,

Think six-figure salaries and they could be recycled.

No inquiries please and no one ever goes to jail.

Appointees up high make sure investigations fail.

With shredders near in case someone points a finger,

Burn whistle blowers in case allegations linger.

Conspiracies of silence where everyone’s polite,

And everything is legal so no need to act contrite,

And the Access Act hides everything that should be known.

    The Dead who Dared

    James Bredin

Do we have the time, the energy and the resolve?

The manpower to fix problems that cannot be solved,

Afghanistan will be the same in ten years time,

Despite all those dead Canadians killed in the line.

Now Ottawa admits that many more will soon die,

In cheap jeeps and helicopters that fall out of the sky,

Peacekeepers prancing proudly over there and so brave,

Guiding outdated rusty cheap gear to the grave.

Our stupid politicians will boast in New York,

‘Bout soft power in UN announcements by a dork,

And the media will manage to hype the whole thing,

And the generals will justify flying on one wing.

And no one will dare to ask is our democracy dead?

How many should die for the policy of the feds?

Should we ask for a referendum to get them all back?

But referendums are not allowed for those dead in a sack.

There’s too much pride here to ever admit a mistake,

As they count the dead soldiers coming home to their wake,

Is there anything we can do to change things around?

‘Cause certainly in Afghanistan the answers wont be found.

The Lady who didn’t have it All

    By

    James Bredin

She could pick any man she wanted more or less,

She had looks, career and was considered a great success,

A DR before her name and an alphabet after,

A scholar who only studied and missed all the laughter.

Lately dated all the losers in this land she said,

Half of them were boring and the other half were dead,

I am constantly being wooed she said with a grin,

But of course at university, no course about men.

Her youth had vanished somewhere somehow through the years,

She wore the latest fashions and drove a car with ten gears,

Mother helping desperately looking for one guy,

Someone handsome, not married, and not about to die.

    We Need More Round Women

    By

    James Bredin

I think all women should carry an extra twenty pounds,

We don’t need bony women as skinny as greyhounds,

And those extra pounds should be in all the right places,

And they should all look well fed with nice round faces.

And those skinny women who jump up and say I’m wrong,

Have been reading those big fat diet books far too long,

Or listening to some talking head on TV giving advice,

‘Bout bad fat or bad cholesterol, they swear is not nice.

And to the one or two of you who may have some doubt,

Who think I probably don’t know what I’m talking about,

Go to Tim Hortons, McDonalds or Burger King,

Eat your fill of donuts hamburgers or chicken wing.
