During the past 4 years Obama has done nothing but enhance his own position, and that of his crony's. As a president he's a train wreck. His main activity is buying votes with our money. Even those on the dole must realize that if the economy goes bust those checks will stop. His lies and broken promises could fill a telephone book. I can't list even a fraction of the underhanded crap he fostered. I'm sure this is a vanity posting but I have to tell somebody. I have a friend in Chicago who claims the story going around is that the next terrorist hit will be an oil tanker. This is completely believable to me, especially if it was blown up in an American port like Houston. Does the Navy escort those tankers? I think we need to start a grass roots movement to regain control of our Govt. Everyone sees the benefit of reduced spending and term limits would eliminate the need for our congresscritters to sell ther vote to special interests, and perhaps do what is right for the country. Input please

Is it safe to assume that Ashcroft will replace Waxman as Solicitor General when he becomes Atty Gen? Waxman holds the belief that the 2nd amendment represents only a collective right. I asked him how he voted and he admitted to not voting at ALL. I think this is an annual affair and we MUST identify our rep and convince him of our position on gun control, or vote him OUT. The Honorable Tom Daschle, Tom, we have always been "Yellow Dog" Democrats in this district but this Gun Control issue is eroding our solidarity. The MM March was a nice show but it supported the wrong cause and was more political than spontaneous.
