    I do understand your point.

The posting here is the same message at our site including typos.

I stopped the "pasting" just before the Sargent's email, because I did not want to post it here for spamming (freerepublic, is a bit more popular than us) and the instructions about FR site use, say to point to the publishers site "to keep the meters spinning", free republics term not mine. I may have posted less text than I did this morning, but it was just before 8 and I needed to get to church on time, so I was not able to pull out snippets as I should have.

I am the publisher (just the guy that set up therealiraq.org) for free with my own money. Go to the mission page at the site for further details why.

One of our contributors, COL Randy Fritz (A hero (IMO) that is on his second tour in Iraq, doing the right thing, apparently meet the Sargent in the last 24 hours.

He posted a message from her in her own words.

I read the Sargent's plea as I awoke and thought it would interest people here. freerepublic users have been kind to me in the short time I have posted here (I have been reading here for a lot longer, like many of us)

If a cardiac care unit wants to contact me, if a airline company wants to contact me, with tickets from Iraq to Boston fine. I will make sure that Sajad Nihad gets the help he needs, and I will be happy to have his family in my home. I have no use for a pediatric cardiac operation or a plane ride from Iraq.

UM... I never said "Contact me if you can help" the Sargent's original letter said that and then, some one here said I wrote it. Sorry for the confusion!

I said; "This message continues at our site

    http://www.therealiraq.org

...with the Full name and address of the US Sargent that is trying to help this boy. PLEASE at least send (him) a support email, point (him) in the right direction, or tell us how to help. The end of (his) letter is also open to comments at our site. (the Free republic instructions indicate to do it this way, when you post, I am new and did read the instructions last month)

On our site SGT Satryano (through our, Col Randy Fritz) ends the post with "Contact me if you can help." followed with her email that I once again will not post here.

By the way, that is just a newspaper and does not appear to be a Blog that she has access to. There may be no way for her to post immediately at that site. Knowing Randy he ran into her over there and is just trying to get the word out because he gives a damn.

Do not EVER send me money I will not accept it in any form.

I want NOTHING from ANYONE, I want people to help this boy by contacting the Sargent. He left his email on our blog through a Col Randy Fritz, that I personally know. I did not post his email here to keep down on the spam he may get.

I have already offered my home just outside of Boston, and transportation should they come here for help. That is the best I can do.

Great story, our new site is mostly about agriculture in Iraq. We have 7 contributors so far writing letters home about the good things they are doing there. Our key contributor is even trying to set up a 4-H program!

    Check it out at www.therealiraq.org

What a great story, and even better that the "real" press is reporting it for a change! Pass our site along to him we have about 7 contributors now in Iraq. The instruction link for those in Iraq is www.therealiraq.org/in_iraq.html

The interesting thing is people are coming back to read the story's (be sure to check the archives!), on the average 6 of them and spending 20 minutes at the site.

We are from Londonderry, New Hampshire

    "Live Free Or Die"
John Stark born in Londonderry, New Hampshire, August 28, 1728

On August 16th, 1777, John Stark marched his New Hampshire militia across Vermont from Brattleboro to Bennington to keep the British from raiding supplies whose loss might very well have resulted in the fall of New York.
Before the battle, Stark passionately addressed to his troops: "Yonder are the Hessians," he declared. "They were bought for seven pounds and ten pence a man. Are you worth more? Prove it! Tonight the American flag floats from yonder hill or Molly Stark sleeps a widow!"

Regarding the FireFox problem, thanks. I am aware of it but have not been able to solve it. The Blog is in WordPress 1.2.2 in a inline frame under the menu system. It looks fine in Explorer and others but has this problem in Mozilla. No one at the WordPress site has found a solution (but they are all helpfull and great people). I plan on upgrading this weekend to 1.5 and hope to solve it. 98% of the browsers so far are Explorer but I use FireFox at work myself so I would like to solve the problem.

We do not do this for a living but I can not take it (the normal press) any more.

We have only been up for 3 weeks. We did some local PR the first week and got 4 papers on the front page, and one TV station, all just local. Kathy and I do a lot of local public service and donations, so that gave us a hook.

We did take the emails provided to us from people in Iraq over the last year and one half and input them to give it depth.

Thanks guys, I felt funny about posting our own site, but the National (and World) press does not tell the truth about what is going on in Iraq.
