I heard one news report on the radio when all of this happened a couple days back that talked about the 3 Americans captured in Iran, but haven't heard anything about it since, nor do any of the reports on the internet say anything about it. One was described as a teacher and a "campus activist", and another one was a "community activist". Anyone else here this?

I heard ABC News report on the radio at 2:00 PM today that made me sick. They had "sources" that stated that the "Neda" video of her being shot and dying on the street "was definitely not from an Iranian security force" and "appeared to be staged to get international attention". I guess I can't be too surprised. The liberals at ABC News are running propoganda broadcasts for Obama, so why not for the Iranian dictators? Besides, that fight for freedom in Iran is none of our business. ABC and the rest of the American left need to squelch it...

Overall, 54% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance so far. Forty-five percent (45%) disapprove.

I was watching the unbelievable news coverage of Iran today, and it occurred to me that if the far left socialists keep rigging elections like they do and keep taking our freedoms away, Iran could happen here. Isn't that possible? The liberals are terribly frightened by the Tea Party movement, but that's nothing compared to what could happen.

I was very disappointed that President Obama put out the weak statement about how the United States "can't get involved" in the "internal affairs" of Iran. OK, fine, we can't get involved, but we can't even make a statement of support for people fighting for their freedom? I live in Maine, and our Democrat controlled legislature and governor's office, against the will of the people, in their wisdom recently passed gay marriage. A "People's Veto" drive immediately started to get the gay marriage issue on the ballot, where it will almost certainly be overturned, even in the liberal mecca of Maine. 55,000 petition signatures of registered voters need to be collected in order to get the issue on the ballot, no small feat in a rural state like Maine. I'm getting increasingly angry at the haters on the left making the following excuse for Letterman: "He wasn't joking about the 14 year old daughter, Willow, being raped, but the 18 year old daughter, Bristol, being raped. So there is nothing wrong with it. Get over it, it was just a joke, stop the phony outrage".
