“Kill a Fed LEO, you’re dead even if you’re in the right! That’s pretty much true regarding all LEOs.”

So true, I seem to recall that all of the dead agents were ex Clinton body guards, leading many to think they were sacrificed as damage control during the increasing bimbo eruptions.

I’ll wager that this experiment is less about fairness than a preference for certain rewards. If they had only a single monkey, gave that monkey a grape once to make the monkey aware of the grapes, then leave the grapes in view but never give him any, you would see identical behavior, the monkey would act identical.

I think this researcher knew this and spun the result to make his progressive point.

I want to see the DNC added to this list. The DNC has become a criminal enterprise and complicit in the Crimes of all the above entities. Who is culpable for the fielding of an constitutionally ineligible candidate for POTUS?

If Obama was ineligible, wasn’t putting him forward a crime and hiding the evidence of the crime also a crime? There should be an assessment of guilt and accountability for the crimes. A political landscape with no DNC would be a GOOD thing.

The remedy for this is obvious, announce via a large sign within the bakery that all profits from homosexual wedding cakes will be donated to Living Hope Ministries,
which is focused on helping homosexuals find their way out of the homosexual lifestyle.

  • Anyone seen Last Jedi yet? How is it?

I watched it and came out of the theater with a general sense of meh...

That is, until I read an article that changed my mind about what I had seen. The article correctly pointed out that the entire Star Wars franchise with the lone exception of “The Empire Strikes Back”, consists of kiddie movies. I can now appreciate that the movie is fluff and holds its own as a piece of well crafted fluff.

There are overlong action scenes that were built around:
    1. a lot of swordplay,
    2. a lot of Galloping critters,
    3. a lot of Spaceship battles,
    4. and a battle scene involving some sort of land thingy that moves like a “Tron” light-cycle.

Those overlong action sequences were apparently put in to give the folks who paid to see the 3-D version, their money’s worth.

As long as you don’t expect it to be deep and intellectually satisfying or even particularly funny, you will probably think it was an OK movie. I was gratified that there was no plot element involving the struggle to obtain plans to yet another ultimate weapon. That story-line was getting old.
There were a few cool bits but most will find it too long. Not great SF but OK.

I’ve yet to see anyone on either side discuss the possibility that an ISP that is also a content provider (think Comcast) might want to charge a higher rate on bandwidth from a competitor than they charge all other users. This would be a monopolistic practice and one that hits home to me since Comcast is my only real choice for an ISP in my location. As a “cord cutter” who has dropped cable, I get a lot of content from Amazon and Netflix.

Granted, a company should be able to charge whatever they want for their services, but selectively hampering the competition should be illegal I think.

For analogy, if a local power company was owned by an energy conglomerate, say that Acme Power Company was owned by Acme Energy Corp which also happened to own the Acme gas stations.

If Acme Power charged a competing gas station in town 100 times as much a rate for electricity than it charges the Fast-Food restaurants or other businesses nearby, that would be anti-competitive behavior and that seems like it should be illegal.

Notice that I didn’t say that Acme Power should charge the Acme Gas Stations the same rate as everyone else, if they want to give the power away free to divisions of their own company that’s OK.

Preventing companies from charging “targeted” higher rates or using other coercive policies like selective fees to hamper competition is what I thought net neutrality was about. Will there be any protection against those sorts of monopolistic actions after net neutrality is swept away?

An OBL look alike was killed in the raid. The real OBL was killed years earlier in a strike on one of his compounds. His cadre tried to keep the illusion going by periodically releasing pieces of old videos and audio recordings of other people. None of it was very convincing at the time. Later OBL’s posse must have had a comfy lifestyle keeping the illusion going at the compound. We new it and that’s why there was the fishy burial at sea with no examination/ID of the body.

But I’m Pretty sure that this article attributing the Bahama stuff to Snowden is bogus however. Just noise...

“If a state passes a law, and it is upheld by the lower courts, that a person can not say booger, I think the supreme court has a duty to strike it down as against first amendment protection.”

The establishment clause of the first amendment places restrictions upon congress as to the what type of laws they are allowed to enact. When the establishment clause becomes something that is enforced by the feds upon others; the clear meaning of the constitution is turned on its head.

Would that more people held the constitution as something that we shouldn’t twist to our particular preferences.

Few people realize how fragile our republic is or how perilous we are right now.

Obama is not an incompetent fool, but a shrewd enemy of the constitution. Hitler blamed the Reichstag fire on the Russians, the subsequent “Enabling Act” dissolved the Reichstag and elevated Hitler from Chancellor to Fuhrer.

Obama is clearly trying to duplicate Hitler’s success. His actions are entirely consistent with that objective. Nearly 50% of the electorate and 95^ of the media would applaud Obama’s ascension.

The US is in grave danger until after the inauguration. The likelihood of Obama trying to seize dictatorial control soon should be the main conversation of everyone right now.

Obama is setting the stage for a putsch. His feigned outrage over Russia’s violation of the “sanctity” of the US election is window dressing for nullifying the election somehow. Perhaps he intends to provoke an armed conflict with Russia & declare a state of emergency.

I don’t know what Obama has planned but he is up to something beyond what he is stating. This story tells us that the MSM will give him PR cover for whatever action he takes.

“Aside from the fact that this whole hacking story is bogus, what does Obama mean by “the US will retaliate”?”

Obama means that the US will retaliate against Russia by undoing the election result that they “orchestrated”.

Why is no one discussing this possibility? Am I ignorant of some basic fact of civics that protects us from this happening? I fear that between now and the inauguration, our country is facing a grave peril.

In a civil war, the US military led by all the Obama loyalists at the top would win...
