My sister in law is in her fourties and has emphysema. She has been asked by the Red Cross to allow them to fly her Washington, DC and testify that Bush's proposals against clean air will cause her health problems. My wife asked me to provide information regarding whether this is a good idea or not. I have no idea what the hearing is or what the law is she is supposed to testify about. Does anyone know what hearing is taking place next week ? What is the topic and what are the pro's and con's ?

As posted here I received a push poll Friday Night against the GOP candidate. Since then I have confirmed that it wasn't a poll by the GOP candidate and the Democrat claims no knowledge. Further the polling company refuses to provide the text of the poll. In response I would like to draft a letter to the editor and request your help for both rebuttle information and for suggestions about style. My intial reaction is to keep it short and make it funny by characterizing the questions as being totally exagerated while at the same time providing a rebuttle. I...

After telling them the republican candidate most likely (because I don't know you because of redistricting) I was asked a series of questions which included (not exact wording) : 1. Simmons voted for 450 million in retro active tax benefits for Enron. 2. Simmons voted against school building. 3. Simmons voted against allowing us to...
