I recently read a book by a former SAS member you may want to check out. The author (Tom Carew) talks about British Ops. during the Russo-Afgani conflict. There are is a brief mention of U.S. involvement in teaching guerrilla tactics and unothodox methods. I'm not sure of the validity of the piece but you may want to read JIHAD The Secret War in Afganistan.

I admit a bias in favor of police. I was a military cop in the Airforce which doesn't always apply to the outside. Still, however, I noticed alot of edginess around weapons. There were several ranges on base and (even when properly stored)when seen by other cops, they were quick to slap leather. Though it was illegal in the State. There were times when truckers would pack and be discovered during searches. To me it was understandable and even commendable for one to be dedicated enough to protect themself and even their freight. To the military, however, it was completely against S.O.P. Pity!

I couldn't imagine the savings passed on to the American people after dissolving the IRS beurocratic mess. If we implement flat tax there would be plenty of displaced auditors we could export to the former Soviet countries. I'm sure they are in need of some interrogators.

He voted yes on the Iraq invasion before realizing flower power isn't standard issue weaponry.

ROE This sounds all too familiar. During my stint in the gulf, they didn't want us to carry weapons outside of U.S. controled areas. Also the Host Nation defined what our restricted areas were. Sometimes the military is prone to pander to politics. This is why I back the man who says "bring 'em on".

Now is a perfect time to reveal such information. It doesn't help in the Terrorist information as much as it gets Bill's name back in the press. He'll reveal just about anything (i.e. nuke secrets to Chinese)to get his what he deems power.

The Israeli's also took their own olympic team hostage. Pshaw...... Fundamentalist Jihaadist/ Hisbollah/ etc. etc. are even astounded at their own effectiveness. They are astounded at the amount of carnage and outrage they generated. Everyone has been quick to lay themselves blameless.

True we may seem to be swinging in the dark at this terrorist organization. True the Russians spent ten years fighting the Afghans and gave up. We do however know more than we are letting on. We will act. We have Air-Power!!

Hisbolah (sp) is not only a state supported terrorist group but they have seats on Parliament in Palestine. The "Army of God" is in league with the legislative Government. How can such a country be considered working towards peace? Palestinian politicians must bend to the religous fervency of fanatics. Israel seems less bound to fringe groups. If there is any leaning to the Israeli side, it is because they have stayed autonamous from terrorist groups.

Has anyone checked out case studies on Post-Pardum Psychosis? This woman showed every sign of being unstable and unfit to care for children prior to birth. She could not have been sound but could (I think) be elligable for receiving a just punishment. By no means should she be considered a cause. It sounds to me like NOW is really stretching for sensationalism. Conservative resurgency has them on the offensive.

It seems we are doing are jobs well.
