KIRKUK, Iraq – The 15th Iraqi Army Brigade detained 12 enemy personnel during an intelligence-driven operation in Hafriyah, southeast of Kirkuk, Iraq, March 31.During an IA brigade unilateral operation, Iraqi Army soldiers conducted a cordon and search to capture or kill the Al Qaeda in Iraq cell responsible for the March 23 attack on 3rd Battalion, 15th Iraqi Army Brigade, 4th Iraqi Army Division. BAGHDAD – Multi-National Division—Baghdad Soldiers discovered two weapons caches during combat operations March 28. Soldiers from 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, discovered a weapons cache in eastern Baghdad at approximately 2:30 p.m. The cache consisted of two explosively formed projectiles, four 120 mm artillery rounds and two 60 mm mortar rounds. BAGHDAD: Iraqi soldiers uncovered a cache of Iranian-made rockets and armor-piercing roadside bombs Saturday in an apartment building occupied by Shiite militia members south of Baghdad, the U.S. military said.
