 Rare Hurricane To Make Landfall in Brazil Contrary to what other news sources have been reporting, the rare hurricane in the Southern Atlantic has NOT made landfall Saturday and is still off the coast of southern Brazil. AccuWeather believes the hurricane will make landfall near Torres on the coast of southern Brazil within the next 24 hours, most likely during the wee hours of Sunday morning, local time.
