In a video of the attempted armed robbery of a McAllen, Texas mall jewelry store, the seven suspects were captured by three armed people. One of the armed people, in a uniform, is said to be a police officer working mall security. Another one, in a red shirt, is said to be a citizen with a Texas license to carry, in a Fox News Video. There are at least two dozen people on St. Paul's North End obtaining permits to carry a concealed weapon in response to a summer increase in crime. St. Paul Police spokesperson, Steve Linders, said police are also stepping up patrols. Dozens of protesters marched through the streets of Portland, Oregon, on Sunday, demanding action after Portland State University police shot and killed a Navy veteran. The Payne County Oklahoma Budget Board voted to restore county employee's Second Amendment rights on May 14, 2018. Oklahoma requires a state issued carry permit to carry a handgun outside the home, except for certain, limited exceptions. Several would-be robbers got an impromptu lesson in the Second Amendment outside a supermarket in suburban Atlanta, all thanks to the fact that they messed with the wrong couple. The gun control bills that New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy signed this week won’t save lives. If anything, it will lead to more crime and death. The laws aim to keep firearms out of the wrong hands, expand background checks, and reduce magazine size.
