Andrea Mitchell joined Chris Matthews in insisting that President Trump decide to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel in part to benefit Republican U.S. Senate candidate in Alabama Roy Moore. Trump made the move Wednesday because the White House “wanted to get this out before Alabama.”

Hang in there, Al baby! That’s Chris Matthews’ message to embattled Senator Al Franken. Despite many of his fellow Dem senators and the head of the DNC calling for Al’s head over allegations of sexual misconduct, Matthews, on this evening’s Hardball, encouraged Franken not to cave—at least not right away. She responded: “Who he actually pays attention to are all the people he calls up on the phone: Roger Ailes. RICO is the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, adopted by Congress in 1970 for purposes of combating the Mafia. MSNBC “terrorism analyst” Malcolm Nance got the ball rolling by suggesting that Trump aides might have been paid Russian agents. Matthews then upped the ante: “That’s when I begin to think RICO. This makes twice in 10 days that a host on MSNBC has openly marveled at the idea that many, many Americans believe their rights come from God and are recognized in the Constitution rather than derive from the Constitution itself. Not even Hillary Clinton, acclaimed author of What Happened, went this far.  On Wednesday's Hardball, Dem Rep. Jackie Speier called Russian "hacking" of the presidential election an "act of war." Taking things a significant step further, Speier said: "I'm not convinced that they didn't get into the [voting] machines." On the same day that the media were back shining Hillary Clinton’s apples, MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews spent Tuesday night carrying water for far-left darling and Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), telling her that she possesses a “mastery” in her “thrilling” “speaking skills.”

On this evening’s Hardball, Matthews said “New polls this week show the president with ocean-bottom job approval. That said, his supporters stick like a bathtub ring. Among those who voted for him, says the Washington Post, 96% said they have no regrets about supporting him.” The non-stop attacks from Dems and the MSM haven’t shaken support for President Trump among those who voted for him.
