  • In Syrian Christian Town, ISIS Mass-Executed 116 People Before Assad's Army Closed In

Evidence has emerged of another Islamic State militant group (ISIS) mass execution, this time in the Syrian Christian desert town of Al-Qaryatain. The militant group killed at least 116 civilians in executions committed in the days before the Syrian regime recaptured the town, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), a U.K.-based monitoring group with an extensive network of contacts in Syria. “ISIS has over a period of 20 days executed at least 116 civilians in reprisal killings, accusing them of collaboration with regime forces,” SOHR chief Rami Abdelrahman told the Agence France-Presse news agency.

Since President Trump's inauguration on January 20, the State Department under Rex Tillerson has admitted only 28 Syrian Christian refugees, representing only 1.4 percent of the total. About 10 percent of Syrians are Christian. This continues a policy of open anti-Christian discrimination established by the Obama administration -- which Trump had promised to end. The State Department's Refugee Processing Center shows that, of the Syrian refugees admitted during the Trump administration, 1,932 Muslims and only 37 non-Muslims have been admitted. I reported on several occasions here at PJ Media last year on the Obama administration's anti-Christian policy in the midst...

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán opens conference by calling on nations, particularly in Europe, to cast aside political correctness, stand up against Christian persecution, and defend the roots of Christian civilization. It is time for Europe to free itself from the shackles of political correctness, speak the truth, and face the facts about the violent persecution of Christians, Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said on Thursday. In a hard-hitting speech delivered at the opening of the first major conference ever held by a government in support of persecuted Christians, Orbán said that the “forced expulsion” of Christians from parts of the...

At Oxford, where the motto is, “The Lord is my Light.” Members of the Christian Union (CU) were banned from attending a freshman fair at the University of Oxford for fears that incoming students might face “potential harm” and feel unwelcome. According to Breitbart London, the university wanted to keep the freshers’ fair a “secular space” after concerns were raised by “student welfare representatives.” This was a strange turn of events for an institue established under Christianity. An internal e-mail explained the university’s reasoning: "We recognise the wonderful advantages in having CU representatives at the Fresher’s Fair, but are concerned...
  • Mali: Muslims tell Christians they’ll kill them if they go to church

The Christians should, of course, immediately comply. To do anything else would be disrespectful. It would be poking Muslims in the eye. It would harm the wonderful dialogue that Muslims and Christians are having in the West. Once Muslims have made it clear that their feelings would be hurt by Christians attending church, Christians must not attend church. It’s that simple. It’s just like cartoons of Muhammad: cartoons are just cartoons, good for a chuckle or a meaningful observation now and again, but once Muslims make it clear that they will kill Christians and other non-Muslims for drawing Muhammad, then...

Several Democrat senators have used the confirmation hearings of the most exclusive club in America to lay down an unconstitutional requirement for qualification to public service. At a hearing in June, Sen. Bernie Sanders questioned the fitness of Wheaton College alumnus Russell Vought for the post of deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget. Mr. Vought had written an article in which he said Muslims "do not know God because they have rejected Jesus Christ his Son, and they stand condemned." Sen. Sanders accused Mr. Vought of religious bigotry, saying, "In my view, the statement made by Mr....

U.N. lends megaphone to Nigerian genocide Nigerian genocide holds Christians in bondage ANALYSIS/OPINION: The United Nations will live in infamy for lending its megaphone on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, to Nigeria’s elected military dictator Muhammadu Buhari. The Hausa-Fulani Muslim strongman is currently orchestrating genocide as defined by the Genocide Convention against Nigeria’s 50 million Igbo people because of their ethnicity and unwavering devotion to Christianity. Buhari’s genocide marks the culmination of a long train of Biafran subjugation by radical Hausa-Fulani Islamic terrorists. The dictator’s power is anchored to an illegitimate constitution decreed by a military dictator in 1999 to...

CHRISTIAN children in Sudan’s refugee camps are not given food unless they say Islamic prayers, according to reports we received from reliable sources. A contact, who asked to remain anonymous for security reasons, described how Christian refugees from South Sudan are confronted with “a terrible situation” in refugee camps in Sudan. The source told us: “We have heard stories where children are conditioned to say Islamic prayers before [being] given food. This is not right. These children are Christian. They should be respected as such.” The source, who estimates that some 700,000 South Sudanese Christians are refugees in Sudan, added:...

Four regional governments began notifying churches of this new ban against children participating in religious activities as early as mid-August, according to Daily Mail. Hundreds of churches in China’s Zhejiang province received notices that not only banned children from entering churches, but also threatened that any believer caught taking a child to church “will be dealt with severely,” according to a report from Vision Times.

    D. James Kennedy Ministries has filed a lawsuit against Amazon, Guidestar, and the Southern Poverty Law Center, citing defamation and religious discrimination. Filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, Montgomery Division on Wednesday, DJK Ministries provided The Christian Post with a copy of the suit. According to the suit, in January Amazon wrongfully denied DJK Ministries access to the AmazonSmile program due to the SPLC labeling the ministry a hate group for its opposition to homosexuality.

EU, George Soros acting against the will of the peopleBUDAPEST, Hungary (ChurchMilitant.com) - The leader of Hungary is warning that an effort to de-Christianize Europe is underway. Speaking in Romania in July, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán spoke of a deliberate plan to transform Europe into a "mixed, Islamicized" society. "In Brussels," he warned, "an alliance has been forged against the opinion of the people." Orbán said Europe is being prepared to surrender its heritage and identity: We are observing the conscious, step-by-step implementation of this policy. In order for this to happen, for the territory to be ready to...

British reporter Robert Fisk was on hand when the city was liberated and wrote: “The Greek Catholic Church of Our Lady is a place of shame, of burnt copies of the New Testament, paintings slashed with knives – many were lying in strips of gold and red fabric beside the altar’s broken cross – and mosaics chiselled from the walls.” Fisk also mentioned that the terrorists had “gouged out the eyes of the mosaic saints.”What is on display in these photos is not merely abomination and sacrilege; it is loathing and hatred of the spirit of Christ; it is...

The streams of blood from defenseless Copts massacred by Islamist extremists continue to drench Egypt--with no end in sight. Three more Coptic were found dead in a span of eight days from the last week of June to the first week of July, with a fourth victim killed in late May, World Watch Monitor reported. Even as the Coptic Orthodox Church held another memorial service on July 3 commemorating 40 days since the bus attack in Minya that killed 29 Copts on Ascension Day, hopes for an end to the sectarian killings remain dim. Christian Assyrians have been targeted repeatedly through history — and found themselves under attack again by ISIS forces in Syria. "They're coming! They're coming!" On that day, Feb. 23, 2015, a new page in the tragedy of the Middle East's Christians was written on the banks of the Khabur River, in northeastern Syria. Armed with heavy weaponry and armored vehicles, ISIS fighters swept down from the Mount Abdulaziz region and stormed local Assyrian Christian villages, sending panic-stricken residents fleeing for their lives. Thousands sought shelter in the area's major cities, Al-Hassakeh and Al-Qamishli. The fighting lasted several hours. Two local...
