Democrats and DeSantis backers alike pounced over the Christmas period, attacking the Trump family over a Christmas picture posted to Instagram (and subsequently X.com). “Where’s Melania?” hundreds of mostly anonymized internet accounts shrieked, many of which contained “#DumpTrump” or “#DeSantis2024” markings in their biographies. The picture, which also omitted Eric and Lara Trump, as well as a number of other family members, served as poor spirited fodder for those with nothing better to do over the Christmas period besides throw shade on Donald and Melania Trump. Now, it has emerged that the former First Lady was, in fact, taking care...

Democratic strategist Paul Begala said Tuesday on CNN’s “The Source” that former President Donald Trump’s Christmas Truth Social post saying his opponents should “rot in hell” is “blasphemy.” Begala said, “He wants to be a dictator. He says just for a day, but let’s see. I think the way Democrats and Republicans running against him respond to this is important. I don’t think they should pearl clutch. they need to turn this against him.” He continued, “It’s like this comment about Christmas, telling people to rot in hell, you know I am a Christian, that’s blasphemy.”

The holiday tradition of eating Chinese food on Christmas is going strong, according to Yelp data shared with Axios. The big picture: Yelp searches for Chinese restaurants spike every December. Last year, Christmas Day searches were 99% higher than any other day in the month, the platform told Axios. It's not just Yelp. Google search interest for "Chinese food" has peaked on Christmas every year since the data became available (in 2004). Zoom in: A lack of restaurants open on Christmas has fueled the trend over the years, and the cuisine is a holiday favorite among many Jewish families. Rabbi...

A 23-year-old Florida mother-of-two has been shot and killed following an argument over Christmas presents. Abrielle Baldwin was killed on Christmas Eve at their grandmother's home in Largo, Florida. Police believe the gun was fired by her 14-year-old brother Damarcus Coley who was then shot by their 15-year-old sibling, Darcus Coley. It is alleged Darcus fled the scene and then made a call to their mother. Damarcus and his sister were taken to hospital, where he underwent surgery, but Abrielle did not survive her injuries. Both brothers have been charged with murder, and the state is considering trying them as...

While many of us were celebrating Christmas, Egypt popped up with an interesting new wrinkle in the Israeli-Hamas war. After having largely tried to keep themselves out of the toxic stew brewing in Gaza, the Egyptians came forth with what many described as a bold, overarching peace proposal. They suggested a complete cessation of military action by Israel in Gaza. In exchange, Hamas would agree to step aside from governmental control and allow the election of a new Palestinian parliament. Hostages and prisoners would be exchanged and the rebuilding of Gazan infrastructure and the flow of humanitarian aid could resume....

Former President Donald Trump posted a fiery message wishing people a Merry Christmas while blasting "THUGS" within the U.S., declaring, "MAY THEY ROT IN HELL." "Merry Christmas to all, including Crooked Joe Biden's ONLY HOPE, Deranged Jack Smith, the out of control Lunatic who just hired outside attorneys, fresh from the SWAMP (unprecedented!), to help him with his poorly executed WITCH HUNT against 'TRUMP' and 'MAGA,'" Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. "Included also are World Leaders, both good and bad, but none of which are as evil and 'sick' as the THUGS we have inside our Country...

Beloved, sadly the day after Christmas is probably one of the worst days of the year for many people. It's back to the reality of this crazy life, the grind of it and the uncertainties that follow. The question to all on the day after Christmas is; Do you still have a BIBLICAL CHRIST; the day after CHRISTmas? The horrific tragedy is that many do not and will go back serving a Jesus made in their own image (Matt. 7:21-23). As believers in Jesus, that should not be the case for us since we have a wonderful ETERNAL relationship with...

Gov. Kathy Hochul used her Christmas address on Monday to condemn the spike in antisemitic hate crimes New York has seen in the aftermath of Hamas’ Oct. 7 terror attack against Israel and the subsequent war in the Middle East. “In an ordinary year, my holiday message would be a simple expression of peace and good will,” Hochul said, “But this year is different, this year we must transcend wishes and platitudes. Instead of yearning for peace, let’s actually live it.” The governor decried the recent wave of incidents targeting Jewish and Muslim New Yorkers, including one earlier this month...

But then certain people came forward to debate with Stephen, some from Cyrene and Alexandria who were members of the synagogue called the Synagogue of Freedmen, and others from Cilicia and Asia. China’s state propaganda outlet Global Times proclaimed 2023 the “most depressing Christmas Eve in the West since the end of the Cold War” on Tuesday, claiming that a failure to support the Communist Party’s foreign policy demands had made the holiday “insecure.” The state newspaper, which acts as a mouthpiece for the regime of dictator Xi Jinping, listed several international conflicts made worse by the influence of the Chinese government as the reason for the alleged malaise in the season, prominently including the Russian invasion of Ukraine – which China did not oppose – and the “Israeli-Palestinian conflict,” by which...

Vice President Kamala Harris on Christmas Day posted a seemingly down-to-earth photo of her and husband Doug Emhoff preparing a festive dinner in their kitchen. “Merry Christmas to all. May your day be filled with love, family, and good food. P.S. We are making Christmas beef Wellington,” the post said, which appeared on her personal account. The photo was posted about 1:30 p.m. EST, when many families were making Christmas dinner. Merry Christmas to all. May your day be filled with love, family, and good food. P.S. In the 1980s, when the calendar turned from April to May, Dot Burghard would take out the envelopes and blue pens and start a process that would last seven months or longer. Burghard, a volunteer at the Office of the Vice President in Houston, spent her summers and falls addressing envelopes for a massive undertaking: George H.W. Bush’s Christmas card list. The operation, which had around 30,000 recipients at its peak, required a start date two seasons before the holidays. And when December rolled around, Burghard was joined by a room of volunteers — all women — turning the office...

They’re out to “cancel” Christmas. Hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters converged on Midtown Monday, lugging a blood-red mock Nativity scene and chanting, “Christmas is canceled here.” “Long live the intifada,” the crowd of about 500 demonstrators yelled, using the Arabic word for “rebellion” or “uprising,” as they mobbed the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, where revelers were enjoying the holiday. “While Ur Shopping Bombs are Dropping,” read one of the signs carried by the protesters.

Those ungrateful white Americans! Why don't they appreciate all the wonderful things that Joe Biden has bestowed upon them? That was the Boston Globe's message via its cartoonist Ward Sutton on this Christmas Day. As you see, a svelte Santa Biden points to the gifts he's left under the tree for the family: low unemployment, inflation down, recession averted. And Biden says to them: "Look what I brought you folks -- this oughta make things merry and bright!" Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

While it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, several Hollywood celebrities have revealed in the past how much they hate the holiday season. Some are tired of the many traditions. For Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus, however, it’s the fact that being single can put a damper on what would otherwise be a jolly celebration. In fact, Cyrus, 31, wrote the 2019 track “My Sad Christmas Song” to get her point across. Other stars simply would rather be thankful for what they already have instead of promoting consumerism

Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been slammed for her Christmas post that called Israel a violent occupying force and likened Jesus to the Palestinians. Posting on Instagram on Christmas Eve, AOC shared a photo of a child lying on a pile of rubble surrounded by wooden nativity scene icons. Accompanying the photo, the New Yorker wrote: 'In the story of Christmas, Christ was born in modern-day Palestine under the threat of a government engaged in a massacre of innocents.' She went on to compare Jesus being hunted by King Herod to the 'right-wing forces' currently 'violently occupying Bethlehem.' Her post...
