I don’t know what’s left to say about polls like the PPP Poll that I haven’t already said, so follow that last link if you missed it the first time around. Today’s funsies: Trump 26, Huckabee 17, Romney 15, Gingrich 11, Palin 8. Only 38% of Republican primary voters say they’re willing to support a candidate for President next year who firmly rejects the birther theory and those folks want Mitt Romney to be their nominee for President next year. With the other 62% of Republicans- 23% of whom say they are only willing to vote for a birther and...

Can you imagine the utter humiliation of the GOP, Romney, MSM, and much of the American public when Trump proves Obama wasn't born here? After these fools all gave Obama a free pass! It seems abundantly clear that Donald Trump plans to ride this issue and resulting constitutional crisis right to the White House in 2012... just you watch, he's spending millions and finding PLENTY in Hawaii, precisely as he told Fox's Neil Cavuto three days ago. While he's at it, might as well have a good look at Obama family comrade and Hawaii's hippy governor, Neil Abercrombie... his...

Well, I don't even pretend to know everything there is to know about Donald Trump, but from what I've seen over the past several weeks, I can easily declare that that man is one pretty shrewd guy. "The Donald," as I've heard him referred to by businessmen I know, hasn't amassed a fortune as a builder/developer/real-estate tycoon without knowing precisely how to acquire the land he seeks, how to demolish any existing buildings and how he plans to develop the property into another golden chunk of Trumpland. Now that we can pretty well assume Mr. Trump is running for president,...

(...) In all, Trump has contributed to 96 candidates running for federal political office since the 1990 election cycle, the Center finds. Only 48 of the recipients — exactly half — were Republicans at the time they received their contribution, including ex-Gov. Charlie Crist (I-Fla.) and ex-Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pa.), who both of whom received their Trump contributions as Republicans. Since the 1990 election cycle, the top 10 recipients of Trump’s political contributions number six Democrats and four Republicans. Embattled Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.), who was censured last year by his U.S. House colleagues, has received the most Trump money,...

If you wonder whether Donald Trump is serious about running for president, tune in to the finale of “The Celebrity Apprentice” on May 15. Trump plans to say on the NBC show that he will be holding a press conference in the next few days. At that press conference in the Trump Tower in New York, Trump will be announcing his candidacy for the presidency. Even then, many will snicker that it’s all a publicity stunt. But that defies the facts and common sense. Of all the people on the planet, Donald Trump is the last person who needs more...

TRUMP Emphasizing that he “cherish[es] our seniors,” The Donald said in an interview that Republicans are on a risky “ledge” by backing a plan that could be perceived as hurting older Americans. “I’d have to study the plan,” Trump said in an interview on CNN. “I will tell you, I think it's very dangerous for the Republicans to go on this ledge, because I, for one, would have to be very, very careful.” “I have a lot of respect for Paul Ryan, but what is happening is the Republicans are going way, way, way far out on the ledge,” he...

Awaken the Army of Davids Mark P. Shea Pat Archbold gets it. And, despite the remarks of a few remaining suckers in his comboxes, most of his readers get it, too. As many people were sickeningly sure would happen, the pro-life cause was betrayed yet again by the Stupid Evil Party, and pro-lifers were, once again, instructed by the Party to talk about the betrayal as a big victory. "Victory" boiled down to a trivial impact on abortion policy in the District of Columbia and punting the question of funding Planned Parenthood to the Senate, where it will be dispatched...

I understand the general nuance of the birther argument. And I see there's more than one prevailing theory. While I still have a hard time believing Osama was born in Kenya. I am warming to the idea he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro, became an Indonesian citizen and most likely obtained an Indonesian passport which allowed his travels to Pakistan and beyond. As well as possibly entering college in the US as a foreign student. And I'm sure there was a Muslim thing going on too... much proof of that is already out there and not in dispute. He applied...

Donald Trump believes the Koran teaches a “very negative vibe.” And, he’s also a Christian. That’s what he said during an interview with CBN’s David Brody that aired this morning on the “700 Club.” His comments, included below, were in response to Brody’s question about whether or not Trump has concerns about the Muslim holy book:

With Donald Trump topping the latest CNN/OpEdRe Poll, a few choice quotes... _________________________________________________________________________________ "I hate what's happening to the country" "The US border with Mexico is a joke... it should be militarized so that no illegal immigrants can come in. Moreover, doing so would stop the burgeoning US-Mexico trade in illegal drugs" "(Pakistan) knows where Bin Laden is... cut off all aid until they hand him over" "I am opposed to gay marriage... causes me trouble in New York, but I just don't feel right about it". "Well, there is a Muslim problem... all you have to do is turn on your TV... Unfortunately, at this point...

For the past three months, Donald Trump has been making a lot of news about his possible run for the presidency. It started in February when he spoke at the annual gathering of CPAC. Proving he is willing to call 'em as he sees 'em, and not following the traditional advice for prospective candidates that it's not a good idea to anger your audience, he jumped right in to challenge the Ron Paul supporters in the crowd, saying of Paul, "He has zero chance of getting elected." Trump was booed and jeered, but he did not care. He did not...

There's been all sorts of speculation on FR on whether trump is actually a stalking horse, helping the democrats to remove obama, or a potential 3rd party candidate to split the Republican vote, from a Conservative. Rush talked about exactly that today, and about having the Donald on to discuss these thoughts, and he said he could get him within a week......I'm surprised freepers aren't already on this topic, like a duck on a june bug. 1st time I've started a post.
