  • What Dak Prescott does with a cup during a game could reveal about his character

The Cowboys quarterback is no slouch -- and apparently a stickler for details NOTE: there is a short video at the site Let's dive in on some armchair psychiatry on a Monday morning following a Cowboys victory that made it quite clear just how much this team really is Dak Prescott's. Tony Romo is a wonderful person and a wonderful quarterback, but the torch has been passed. And there was a brief moment on the sideline of Sunday's game against the Ravens where you could argue that Prescott's character was revealed in a very small and subtle way. The Cowboys...

This is why the Dallas Cowboys are my team; I love the attitude. Sure some grown immature snowflakes will call out Jerry Jones, but it’s his team, and he loves America. Just as Jones sets requirements for his team, he expects commitment and loyalty. If he’s paying the salaries, why can’t he impose these rules on his team? If you have a problem with this, then you don’t want to be a Dallas Cowboy, or you should explore joining another team where they let you disrespect the American flag, but that won’t happen in Dallas.

Ezekiel Elliott of the Dallas Cowboys was notified today by the NFL that he will be suspended without pay for the team's first six 2017 regular-season games for violating the league's Personal Conduct Policy. Over the course of the last year, the league conducted an extensive investigation. League investigators interviewed more than a dozen witnesses, including Ms. Tiffany Thompson, who had alleged multiple instances of physical violence in July 2016, and Mr. Elliott. The league also consulted with medical experts. League investigators examined all available evidence, including photographic and digital evidence, thousands of text messages and other records of electronic...
  • Jets Pick Up WR Cowboys Cut After Bizarre Mistaken Identity (Not a Shoplifter)

The 25-year-old was linked to a shoplifting arrest Monday, then cut by Dallas later in the day — before it came out on Tuesday that the man who was charged with petty larceny in Prince William County, Va., wasn’t actually him at all. Police had misidentified the suspect. SNIP The undrafted pick in 2015 had spent the last two seasons in Dallas. This offseason has been a busy one for him: Before the mistaken identity mess, Whitehead’s dog was stolen and held for ransom last week.

  • Game-by-game predictions for the 2017 schedule: Will the Cowboys' NFC East reign continue?

By Jon Machota , Staff Writer Contact Jon Machota on Twitter: @jonmachota I predicted the outcome for every Cowboys game after the 2017 NFL regular-season schedule was released in April. At the time, I had Dallas going 10-6, the same record I predicted in 2016. One difference is that I had the Cowboys winning the division last year. At first glance, I had them finishing second this year to the New York Giants, but earning a wild card spot. Having been able to see what they did in the draft and watch offseason practices, I've gone back through my projections....

Dallas is trying to get something in return for Romo before free agency officially begins With the clock ticking toward NFL free agency, the Dallas Cowboys are making a last-second push to try and trade Tony Romo, according to a report from Chris Mortensen of ESPN. It was believed the Cowboys had informed Romo they were planning to release him , but life moves pretty fast in the NFL, and it took a sudden swerve sideways for Dallas and Romo. (Keep up with all the action in our NFL free agency live blog right here .) According to Mortensen, the...

The Green Bay Packers are back in the NFC title game. Mason Crosby's 56- and 51-yard field goals late in the fourth quarter sent Green Bay past the Dallas Cowboys, 34-31, in Saturday's Divisional Round matchup. Dak Prescott led a 15-point Cowboys comeback, culminating in a 52-yard Dan Bailey field goal with 44 seconds left. But Aaron Rodgers saved his best for last, capping off a 43-yard, 32-second drive with an impossible 36-yard sideline bullet to Jared Cook. The play set up Crosby's winning kick with three seconds left.

Tony Romo will make his 2016 debut on the first day of 2017. Romo, who has missed the entire season after suffering a back injury in the preseason and then being demoted in favor of Dak Prescott, is expected to play on Sunday, January 1, against the Eagles, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. That appears to be a change in plans for the Cowboys, who had previously indicated that they wouldn’t risk an injury to Romo in a meaningless game and would turn to Mark Sanchez if they decided to give Prescott some rest in the regular season finale. The...

It’s been a rather strange 2016 season in the NFL. Teams expected to be among the top contenders (Colts and Packers) are fighting for their playoff lives, while teams not expected to do much (Raiders and Cowboys) sit atop their divisions and look to secure home-field advantage. Such unpredictability helps make the NFL exciting and fun each year. Two playoff contenders, the Cowboys and Vikings, will battle it out on Thursday Night Football this week. The Cowboys own the NFC East with the best record in the NFL (10-1). They’re also riding a 10-game winning streak thanks to rookie quarterback...
  • Why Does NFL Order Cowboys not to Honor Slain Policemen but Allows Kaepernick to Disrespect America?

    08/29/2016 2:40:00 PM PDT · by detective · 66 replies
The NFL allows Kaepernick to disrespect America and say we should not “show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.” The NFL said the media support Kaepernick and his position. The same NFL denied the Cowboys the right to honor fallen policemen. The idea was conceived by veteran tight end Jason Witten. The "Arm in Arm" design honored the fallen officers. Dspite that strong support from one of the league's most powerful franchises, the NFL has struck down the request for the team to wear the decal during the regular season or...

A Texas BBQ restaurant has made their transgender bathroom policy abundantly clear — “No Men Allowed in Women’s Bathroom.” A cross-dressing cowboy truck driver has been stirring-up trouble in the Texas BBQ joint. The trucker likes to come in dressed in a skirt or hot pants and a blouse and six-inch stilettos. The sign in the small Texas town restaurant now politely warns, “No men allowed in the women’s bathroom please.” The restaurant shares the building with a Texaco service station. The establishment in Cresson, Texas, was forced to put up the sign in response to the trucker who has come...

Here's what the oddsmakers at Boomaker.eu had to say about setting the spread for the Carolina at Dallas contest, which opened at Cowboys -1 with a total of 47:From a pure power ratings perspective, Carolina should be favored in this matchup. But given that it's the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day with Romo back on the field, we had to open the home squad as short chalk. The country will be watching and the Cowboys are still America's team. We'll see how the action develops for the game over the course of the week, but it's already clear that while the...

When Taylor acknowledged Bryant, the two began discussing the story and both men began to yell at each other, according to the Dallas Morning News. When wide receiver Devin Street, who apparently has a locker next to Bryant, gets into the conversation, Taylor reportedly tells Street, “ain’t nobody even talking to you.” The Morning News reports Street and Bryant heard Taylor used the N-word.
