Police caught another not-so-wily coyote Saturday morning in lower Manhattan after a nearly hour-long pursuit, officials said. The critter was first spotted around 7:30 a.m. in Battery Park City, police said. Cops quickly responded, chasing after the fast-moving critter on foot and in police cruisers, authorities said. PLAINS, Mont., Dec. 11 (UPI) -- A dead coyote hung from a tree with a Christmas bow along a Montana school bus route is outraging residents, but police said the display is not illegal. The California Fish and Game Commission has banned predator killing contests, ending a fierce debate over the rural tradition. Apparently, the prairie wolf was seen casually making his way across Geary Boulevard at 37th Avenue earlier this week. No word on where he was headed that evening. Perhaps it was just an urban stroll.

The woman took off her jacket during the attack and used it to try to shield herself against the coyote. She then ran to a neighbor's home for refuge. HOUSTON - More than 100 immigrants were found at a suspected stash house in south Harris County, according to the Houston Police Department..... Police say a total of 94 men and 14 women were discovered, including one pregnant woman who was taken to a hospital for treatment. MANSFIELD, Ohio — Local authorities in Mansfield were tracking a pack of coyotes Friday after a man doing some lawn care was attacked. He was riding a mower while blowing leaves along Springmill Road shortly before noon. According to the Mansfield Police Department, about four coyotes rushed at him from a wooded area and one jumped up on the mower, scratching him. The man’s jacket was torn and he suffered an injury to his arm but was able to drive himself to the hospital.
