"I am founding a new party yet to be announced," McAfee, who turns 70 next week, said in a statement of candidacy filed with the Federal Election Commission, which was first reported by the political newspaper The Hill. Eccentric tech millionaire John McAfee has been arrested in Tennessee after being caught driving under the influence and for illegal gun possession, police say. McAfee, who created the virus-scanning software by the same name, was found driving erratically along a road in Henderson County on Sunday night and was arrested, police said. McAfee later admitted to being under the influence of Xanax, but said it was a new prescription and he was not aware it would impair his driving.
