Black culture is ubiquitous, and it has caused other races to try and poach certain aspects of how they move. Lizzo recently called out white people for “talking like Black people.” The “About Damn Time” singer jumped on TikTok on Wednesday (March 6) to respond to a white woman speaking about her suitors using the phrase “type sh*t.” This prompted her to go into a full rant. “Why don’t we bring back gatekeeping?” she asked. “So that AAVE is reserved for the people who created it and grew up speaking it. So that all these people that are now talking...

(KTLA) – Two female ... social media influencers say they were denied entry into a popular Los Angeles nightclub because of their size. Ella Halikas said a bouncer told her and fellow “curvy model" Alexa Jay they couldn’t follow their friends into The Highlight Room in Hollywood. “(Alexa) asked him, ‘Hey what’s going on? I’m with that party you just let in,’ and he said, ‘I know,’ and looked her up and down and said, ‘Not tonight,’” The women shared their story on social media and said it has resonated with women all over the country. “It was so dehumanizing,”...

I recently had the bizarre experience of going to Manhattan after a wave of “boosters” had been rolled out. I remember standing on a crowded rooftop bar on top of a boutique hotel; attractive couples flirted at tabletops; singles crowded the cocktail area; the sun shone, and everything looked normal. But I kept having the disconcerting sense that I was standing inside a hologram. I could not figure out what was wrong, until I realized — it looked like a crowd, but it did not feel like a crowd. I could see the people, of course, all around me, but...

For those wondering how the box office could get any worse than September, which was the worst September in 25 years, I have an answer for you: how about the first weekend of October? The woketards at TheWrap assured us Bros, an R-rated, homosexual romantic comedy released in 3,350 theaters, would — and I quote — “Kick Off Box Office Revival.” Why would anyone think that? I’ll confess I didn’t expect Bros to die-die-die with a, lol, $4.8 million opening, but… How bubbled do you have to be to predict a gay movie filled with gay sex and gay talking...

The host, who took over for Jon Stewart in 2015, told the audience Thursday, "My time is up."Trevor Noah is leaving The Daily Show after seven years as host. The comedian announced the news during Thursday’s episode of the Comedy Central late-night series. He debuted as host in Sept. 28, 2015, following the departure of Jon Stewart, who had previously made the show a go-to for water-cooler conversation and must-see moments with his biting take on political debate and current events. “I realized after the seven years, my time is up, but in the most beautiful way,” Noah told the...

Joy Behar told her co-hosts Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that she is still “furious” that Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump. The panel was discussing a video of Clinton sharing what would have been her victory speech. Behar said, “I’m personally still not over it. I’m still not over it. I mean, she won by 3 million votes.” Co-host Sunny Hostin said, “She won.”

Joy Behar told her co-hosts Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that the testimony of Kyle Rittenhouse during his murder trial was some of the “worst acting” she has ever seen. During his testimony, Rittenhouse said, “I didn’t do anything wrong. I was defending myself.” Behar said, “Oh, baloney.” She added, “I mean, from what I’m gleaning from this case, the guy goes across state lines with an AR-15, with his mother and some other idiot in the car to defend himself against what? They’re having a protest in another state, and he takes it upon himself to go there. Then...

Sean Penn is standing on the sidewalk at an outdoor mall in Malibu's Cross Creek. He's just had lunch - steak frites, rare - and he's smoking a cigarette and explaining why he's never written a memoir. "I've been offered a lot of money to do one of those," says Penn, who has written two novels and multiple screenplays. "And I could see doing one someday, if I felt really old." And then he stops. He sees something I haven't noticed.

With attention focused on coronavirus, undiagnosed and untreated TB cases will cause 1.4 million to die, research suggests The head of a global partnership to end tuberculosis (TB) said she is “sickened” by research that revealed millions more people are expected to contract the disease as a result of Covid-19 restrictions. Up to 6.3 million more people are predicted to develop TB between now and 2025 and 1.4 million more people are expected to die as cases go undiagnosed and untreated during lockdown. This will set back global efforts to end TB by five to eight years. “The fact that...

Two days ago, the New York Times’s Maggie Haberman reported that Donald Trump “has been telling a number of people he’s in contact with that he expects he will get reinstated by August.” In response, many figures on the right inserted their fingers into their ears and started screaming about fake news. Instead, they should have listened — because Haberman’s reporting was correct. I can attest, from speaking to an array of different sources, that Donald Trump does indeed believe quite genuinely that he — along with former senators David Perdue and Martha McSally — will be “reinstated” to office...

SNIP The former congressman gave viewers on YouTube an eye full Wednesday, when he ended a Zoom interview by revealing he was wearing a tight pair of Daisy Dukes along with his dress shirt and suit jacket. The 85-year-old Libertarian inadvertently gave the glimpse of his liberally cut short shorts in the last seconds of a video chat on political issues with host Doug Casey. The men had finished discussing the future of personal liberty, when Paul rolled his chair back from the camera and showed just how much liberty his tiny jeans allowed his slightly tanned, thighs to enjoy.

Rolling Stone is punching back after a blog post claimed that the magazine “sold out” to President Trump and the Saudis under its owner Jay Penske led to calls for a boycott. The story, by “The Hill Reporter” dubbed “The Demise of Rolling Stone: How A Legendary Magazine Sold Out to Trump and the Saudis,” ignited calls across the Twitterverse to #BoycottRollingStone on Friday in part by resurfacing old information about magazine’s parent company’s ties to the Saudis. The story also blasted the Penske Media CEO for his ties to Trump, although it appeared to conflate the media mogul with...

Amid a chaotic day of First Lady duties and elaborate pranks, Biden also wore an unexpected (though greatly appreciated) outfit. Jill paired a set of black floral fishnet tights, black heeled booties, a semi-pleated leather skirt, and a fitted black blazer. Think: Early aughts emo meets White House matriarch.

“When you put somebody’s name in print in a book, you want to make sure the facts around it are correct, especially if they are not living because it’s not like Joe is here and he would have known how to deal with this.” President Donald Trump’s estranged niece Mary claimed he paid his old friend Joe Shapiro to take his SAT test. Pam Shriver, a former tennis pro and Shapiro’s widow, hit back at Mary’s accusations. The widow of the man who Mary Trump alleges took the SAT test for @realDonaldTrump says her husband didn't meet Donald Trump until...

On Monday's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough repeatedly referred to Congressman John Ratcliffe as a "clown." But that wasn't contemptuous enough for Joe. And so Scarborough also suggested that President Trump's nominee as Director of National Intelligence be called a "fascist," and proceeded to do so time and again. Scarborough justified his slur by claiming that during the Mueller hearings last week, Ratcliffe called "every Democrat a socialist." Turnabout being fair play, suggested Scarborough, it was fitting to refer to Ratcliffe as a "fascist." Get the rest of the story and view the video here.
