Rep. Alan Grayson, a Democrat from Florida, has a plan to become Republicans' "worst nightmare" if he is indeed appointed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to the select committee investigating the 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya. (clip) Grayson said he would use the Benghazi hearings as an opportunity to draw attention to other issues important to "ordinary Americans" that have not received as much attention. (clip) Following DeLauro's proposal, liberal groups hatched another idea: send Grayson. A petition on the CREDO group's website has already garnered more than 65,000 signatures. (clip) Grayson said it's up to Pelosi to determine...

Within the last week or so, Oregon Right to Life posted 17 signs alongside Interstate 5, on private properties of pro-life landowners. Many of them (pictured) read: “Abortion: a Lifetime of Regret.” We started to receive word Friday that an unknown number of them had been vandalized with the words, “It’s OK” pasted over it. Today, a south-traveling supporter stopped and took pictures of three of the vandalized signs. vandalism27We obviously have no way of knowing who vandalized the signs. It appears to be well-planned and the vandal also had to cross barbwire fences to get to the signs. The...

A Republican challenging Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick (D-Ariz.) apologized Monday for saying a vast majority of the perpetrators of mass shootings are Democrats. At a candidate forum on Saturday, rancher Gary Kiehne said, "If you look at all the fiascos that have occurred, 99 percent of them have been by Democrats pulling their guns out and shooting people," The Arizona Daily Star reported. "So I don't think you have a problem with the Republicans," Kiehne added, according to the paper.

Republican Senators Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio get thrown around a lot as possible GOP presidential candidates for 2016. One prominent Republican who does not get mentioned much in that context is Rep. Peter King (R-NY). But during one of his frequent interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Friday, King said he is seriously considering making a run at the nomination, if only to prevent those younger, more right-wing candidates from becoming president. Asked by Blitzer about his 2016 plans, King said he’s “certainly looking at” the possibility, which will include a trip to New Hampshire next month. He...

The IRS’ Washington, D.C. headquarters targeted conservative groups in part due to pressure from Democratic Sen. Carl Levin, according to emails obtained by the watchdog group Judicial Watch and reviewed by The Daily Caller. Levin, chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs’ permanent subcommittee on investigations, wrote a March 30, 2012 letter to then-IRS commissioner Douglas Shulman discussing the “urgency” of the issue of possible political activity by nonprofit applicants. Levin asked if the IRS was sending out additional information requests to applicant groups and citing an IRS rejection letter to a conservative group as an example of...

Democrat Who Wanted to Hand Out KKK Hoods to GOP Gets Absolutely Schooled By Black Conservative Woman By Emily Hulsey Days after announcing his plan to hand out KKK hoods at Wisconsin’s GOP convention, State Representative and Democrat candidate for Governor Brett Hulsey (no relation to author) took to the streets once again. Dressed in a (homemade and inaccurate) Confederate uniform, he flagged down conservative attendees to speak about what he says is the GOP’s racist agenda. However, I don’t think he intended for it to go like this…

Less than a day after former IRS official Lois Lerner was found in criminal contempt of Congress, her old agency has agreed to turn over copies of all her emails and other correspondence to one of the Republican-led House committees investigating the scandal that led to her retirement. The agency´s quick concession came after Wednesday night´s 231-178 contempt vote, which closely followed the passage of a second resolution demanding the appointment of a nonpartisan ´special counsel´ at the Department of Justice. Lerner has twice refused to answer questions in congressional hearings after lawmakers issued a subpoena for her appearance. ´This

Sickeningly, that is true. The latest example came from Mo. State Rep. Stacey Newman. What happened? Oh, just this: Today was a very exciting day in the Missouri legislature. First, the veto of SB 509 was overturned, giving Missouri taxpayers the first tax cut in almost 100 years. Then, lawlessness broke out in the Senate gallery. And tonight, a filibuster is being carried out in the Senate. What’s a radical Democrat to do? Easy. Make jokes about four dead Americans: Yes. Yes, she did. Check out her disgraceful tweet:

This morning, the Pennsylvania House State Government Committee held a hearing on the case of the Democrats caught accepting bribes in exchange for voting against voter ID in the state. The case against the Democrats is well-documented, yet Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane, a Democrat, scuttled it shortly after she took office. Kane also accused the career investigators who built the case of racism. That charge doesn’t stand up to any level of scrutiny. The investigation targeted Republicans and Democrats, male and female, black and white. As it so happens, only Democrats chose to accept the bribes, and those members...

State District Judge Jeanine Howard of Dallas has removed herself from a controversial rape case after questioning the victim's innocence and sentencing the admitted rapist to community service at a rape crisis center. Yes, really. Howard voluntary recused herself following an interview with the Dallas Morning News last week, in which she said the girl, 14 at the time, "wasn't the victim she claimed to be," and the attacker, then 18, "is not your typical sex offender." The judge, a Democrat running unopposed for reelection in the fall, cited medical records that showed the girl's past sexual activity and that...

Illinois representative Keith Farnham has been charged with using state and personal computers to trade child pornography. The 66-year-old allegedly boasted about molesting a six-year-old girl and used online chat rooms to discuss his fantasies. When he resigned on March 19, one week after his Elgin office and home were raided, he claimed he was standing down because of health concerns. On Monday the Democrat, who twice sponsored Bills to impose stricter sentences on pedophiles, was accused of using online chat rooms to trade images and videos of child abuse. Authorities linked a Yahoo! email account used by the married...

If you think Washington is scary now, consider this: Al Gore is not ruling out a 2016 run for president. Al Gore 2000 was awful, proving himself willing to divide the country and put it through hell during his attempt to sue his way into the White House. Al Gore 2016 would be many times worse. He would be a single-issue president, and that issue would be the total destruction of the economy in the name of the debunked global warming hoax.

Senate Democrats said Wednesday that the Supreme Court has stretched the First Amendment too far when it comes to campaign finances, and vowed to hold a vote to amend the Constitution and undo a number of landmark decisions. Sen. Charles E. Schumer, New York Democrat and chairman of the Rules Committee, said he will push a constitutional amendment to the full floor later this year that would give Congress the power to impose strict limits on campaign finance. “It will draw to a fine point where we are at — and that is, the First Amendment is sacred, but that...

Major Democrat and Obama campaign donor Gurbaksh Chahal, the CEO of San Francisco based tech startup RadiumOne, was caught on camera brutally beating his girlfriend, including kicking her 117 times, sometimes to the head. The liberal Democrat also threatened several times to murder his girlfriend, according to police reports. His sentence for the brutal assault? Chahal received an extremely light tap on the wrist, only 25 days of community service and no jail time, according to the Daily Mail, which also reports that Chahal attempted to smother his girlfriend during the beating. According to the Washington Free Beacon, progressive Chahal has contributed over...

SALEM, Oregon, April 24, 2014 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The Marion County Board of Commissioners announced late Wednesday that they are putting a stop to a waste-to-energy facility’s program that was incinerating aborted babies to produce electricity. The B.C. Catholic’s Steve Weatherbe revealed April 21 that the British Columbia government was sending fetal remains to the Covanta Marion waste-to-energy facility to be burned along with other medical waste. The story made national news after LifeSiteNews reported on the revelation Wednesday afternoon. “We are outraged and disgusted that this material could be included in medical waste received at the facility,” said Commissioner Janet...

"Today in Things You Can't Unread: The former KKK leader who's accused of killing three people at Jewish centers was previously arrested when police caught him having sex with a black male prostitute, ABC News reports, as noted by Gawker. Officers in Raleigh, NC, caught Frazier Glenn Cross in a vehicle with the man, who was dressed as a woman. "It was pretty shocking because of his personal stances," says a former prosecutor. Cross later said he had sought out the prostitute in order to beat him, according to a recorded phone call."

The liberal media and conservative outlets are highlighting former CBS News reporter Sharyl Attkisson’s speculation that Media Matters for America is being paid to attack her reporting that was perceived as critical of the Obama administration. That’s a dog bites man story. Of course the Democratic Party front group is paid to attack reporters and media outlets that critically report on President Barack Obama and the Democratic Party. What stood out in Attkisson’s comments about Media Matters, made in an interview with Brian Stelter on CNN’s Reliable Sources that was broadcast on Sunday, was the revelation that Media Matters helps...

Democrats reluctant to embrace President Barack Obama's much-maligned health care overhaul in this year's congressional elections may be having second thoughts now that enrollment in the program is higher than expected and cost estimates are lower. "I think Democrats have the ability to steal the health care issue back from Republicans," health care industry consultant Bob Laszewski said. "The Democratic Party can become the party of fixing Obamacare." The Congressional Budget Office said the new law will cost taxpayers $100 billion less than previously estimated. Republicans already were pushing their luck by vowing to "repeal and replace" the health care...
