Ok, lets see what everyone thinks about this week. I admit I was horrible in my picks last week and only got 1 out of 4 right.

by Mark Finkelstein December 31, 2005 - 19:48. When a few years ago Rush Limbaugh suggested that the media, hoping for a black-quarterback success story, had over-rated Philadelphia Eagles QB Donovan McNabb, ESPN fired him from its Sunday night football show. Can you imagine what the media would have done to Rush had he dared to employ the classically racial "feets don't fail me now" line? Yet that is exactly what major ESPN personality Chris Berman did a few minutes ago in introducing coverage of this afternoon's Denver Broncos game. He apparently said it vis a vis white Denver Broncos...

PHILADELPHIA Nov 8, 2005 — Terrell Owens has apologized to Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid, quarterback Donovan McNabb, the team's owner, the team's president and fans. He read the statement outside his house in Moorestown, N.J., a day after the team said he would not return this season. "I fight for what I think is right. In doing so, I alientated a lot of my fans and my teammates," he said. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said Owens was making a public apology in hopes of returning to the Eagles this year. Owens' brief but tumultuous time in Philadelphia ended Monday...

Terrell Owens Press Conference (mp3) is available here: http://www.850koa.com/cc-common/podcast.html I just viewed the Terrell Owens press conference on ESPN News. I didn't realize his agent is the absolute idiot loudmouth Drew Rosenhaus. I therefore retract my support for bringing T.O. to Denver. If T.O. fires Rosenhaus then I'm for bringing T.O. here once again. and ESPN's Sal Palantonio is now reporting that the Eagles have officially said that Owens' last minute apology today doesn't change anything. T.O. will never be in an Eagles uniform again. EVER.

Former Broncos reflect on deeper meaning of success at Friday Forums Failure to give one's best more harmful than 'shallow' vision of success By Ed López As an eighth-round draft pick, Steve Foley was struck by the high quality of players the Denver Broncos had also drafted that year, causing his heart to sink. Foley knew he was a good player in college, but he had self-doubts at the Broncos training camp. "I wanted to leave," he recalled. "I wanted to go home where I felt comfortable." Foley, who had drifted away from the Church as a young man but...
