Perhaps it's just me, but I've seen a recent descent by Rush Limbaugh into defensiveness, petulance, high volume, and lack of fun. I started listening to Rush primarily for the entertainment value: he was the laughing guy giving Liberals the death of a thousand cuts as he threw those little spears bull fighters use into the Liberal Bull until it collapsed, exhausted and bleeding. There was parody, laughter, sharp politcial observation, laughter, and general fun. This seems all behind us now. Rush sounds, most days, petulant, whiney, and definitely not fun.
