Correct me if I’m wrong. Since it is unusual to flood the primary containment vessel (dry/well)… Er…yes, that’s pretty unusual. As in, “never been done before, to my knowledge”. That’s a lot of water. But they seem confident the added stress won’t be problematic. And if I’m reading it right, they expect it to decrease the amount of rad material being spread from containment.
