Submit to the Lord and you will find, Breakthrough of a new kind, For in submission Heaven becomes clear, And you will see into things others fear, For The Father's Heart is Pure Above All, And only The Holy may access and call, For The Eyes of The Cherubim guard what is pure, So only the Holy are able to endure . . . Isaiah 6:5-8 5 Then said I, Woe is me! For I am undone and ruined, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for...

Organizers were planning for more than 100 participants at Minneapolis’ Church of Christ the King on Saturday to talk about the intersection of being LGBT and Catholic and the how to bridge the gap between the LGBT community and the Catholic Church. That gap got a little wider when organizers of the LGBTQ+ Catholic Youth Summit were notified on Sunday — just days before the event — that the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis would not permit the event in a Catholic Church. Instead, event organizers have found a welcoming home down the street at the Edina Community...

Pope Francis sends message to Coptic Pope Tawadros II to mark 'day of friendship'Pope Francis has told Coptic Pope Tawadros II that an “ecumenism of blood unites us”. Francis sent a message to the Coptic patriarch on Sunday to mark the “day of friendship” between the Coptic Orthodox and Catholic churches. “Today more than ever we are united by the ecumenism of blood, which further encourages us on the path toward peace and reconciliation. I assure you and the Christian community in Egypt and throughout the Middle East of my unceasing prayer, and I remember in particular the Coptic faithful...

Foundations are being laid now in my children that have crossed the threshing floor of My heart and will for all my children of light , for to partake of my cup you must enter into me in all fullness and truth therefore obey my statutes and “ live “ my words to you given upon the foundation of my kingdom “ My heart “ , for truly as I send my sent ones and speak through my prophets , the oracles shall reveal themselves to all those that receive me in the manner I choose to come, for many...

The author of Why Catholics Are Right has ditched the Catholic Church. Michael Coren is a well-known writer and talk show host from Canada. He's perhaps best known for The Michael Coren Show and The Arena with Michael Coren on Canadian television, where he earned the reputation of being an unapologetic conservative. He's appeared on Church Militant's Mic'd Up program as recently as 2013, and Michael Voris was once a guest on The Michael Coren Show in 2011. When he first became a Christian in his twenties, he joined the Catholic Church. Soon afterward, though, he left Catholicism in favor...

Intimacy is the key to your breaking through in your days ahead . So persevere as Daniel and Gabriel for I will send My angels of My Presence as Michael (AS GOD) as you spend time in mine . . . DANIEL 10:12-21 12 Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael,...

Amsterdam (Agenzia Fides) - The debate on the opportunity to unify the dates of the liturgical solemnities currently celebrated on different days from different Churches and communities, is "a historical problem" that in itself does not have implications of faith and doctrine. This is why the proposal to unify the Easter date for all Christian Churches "on the third Sunday of April" is being studied. This is what Patriarch Tawadros II said during a meeting with young people which took place on Sunday, May 3 at the Coptic Cultural Centre in Amsterdam, in the context of the visit carried out...

There was no discussion at this week’s Vatican “conference” en route to Pope Francis’s encyclical on climate change. What’s to discuss? Anybody who disagrees is an apostate, destined for damnation. The important point is to stop them bringing climate hell to earth. The event — along with an accompanying statement — confirmed that the Vatican has become an arm of the godless United Nations, and an unabashed shill for its murky Sustainable Development Goals. The encyclical is due to land in September to rally climate True Believers ahead of the U.N.’s giant policy shindig in Paris.

Do you hate it when they whine? Do you hate it when they whine and say, "Don't you agree," "Do you see my point," "Ain't it awful," "Aren't they just terrible for doing that," etc.? Do you want to graciously stop them from wasting your time and using you to confirm their distorted views? Then memorize the following line: "Thanks for the honor of being a judge. But, to be a fair judge-- I will first have to hear the other side." If you stick to this line each time they whine--they will soon stop bothering you and move on...

St. George who was a martyr and one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers has a feast day on April 23rd, the anniversary of his death by beheading. In 1969, Saint George's feast was reduced to an optional memorial in the Roman Catholic calendar so the solemnity of his commemoration depends purely on local observance. However, St. George Day is celebrated by several nations and cities of which Saint George is patron saint. These include, England, Portugal, Georgia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and the Republic of Macedonia, and the cities of Moscow in Russia, Genova in Italy and Beirut in Lebanon. In Palestine...

After having written about Prince of Egypt several readers told me I should also watch Joseph: King of Dreams. I did and, I have to say, you all were right. Like Prince of Egypt, Joseph: King of Dreams is a must-watch because it touches on some very important things about our relationship with God: [VIDEO] Like Prince of Egypt, Joseph: King of Dreams is a must-watch because it touches on some very important things about our relationship with God: [VIDEO] 2. God guides us, but it’s up to us to act. Joseph used every opportunity he got to improve his...

The last time I posted here I examined Bryan Cross’s claim for unity in the Roman Catholic Church. It was my intention to apply Bryan’s guidelines to a specific case that he mentioned – i.e. abortion – to show that his claim, in at least that instance, did not meet the “visibility” standard he required for unity to exist. I hope to have been fair in my examination and believe that said examination disproved Bryan’s thesis on his own grounds. But that exercise caused me to reflect more broadly on the Roman claim to unity as it might apply to other...

Robert George, McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton University and co-author of What Is Marriage?: Man and Woman: A Defense, recently made a spirited call to action for all those willing to refuse to be bullied into submission. Here’s what he wrote on Facebook: The lynch mob came for the brilliant mild-mannered techie Brendan Eich. The lynch mob came for the elderly florist Baronelle Stutzman. The lynch mob came for Eastern Michigan University counseling student Julea Ward. The lynch mob came for the African-American Fire Chief of once segregated Atlanta Kelvin Cochran. The lynch mob came for the owners of...

Father Antonio Spadaro, the director of the Italian Jesuit journal La Civiltà Cattolica, has conducted a lengthy interview with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I of Constantinople, who holds a primacy of honor among the Orthodox churches. The Ecumenical Patriarch spoke about the challenges facing the contemporary world, his admiration for Pope Francis, the upcoming pan-Orthodox synod, and Orthodox spirituality. “Ultimately, it is essential to change the present mindset and abandon a lifestyle of over-consumption and unrestrained greed that inevitably lead to social injustice and inequality,” he told Father Spadaro, who interviewed Pope Francis in August 2013. Interview of the Ecumenical Patriarch...
