Ron Tutt (born March 12, 1938, Dallas, Texas) is a drummer who played concerts and recording sessions for a variety of rock artists from Elvis Presley to the Carpenters. Tutt auditioned for the TCB Band ("Taking Care of Business"), the Elvis Presley touring and recording band, upon the recommendation of TCB keyboardist Larry Muhoberac. Tutt's drumming incorporated cues from Presley's stage moves during the audition. Presley liked what he heard, and Tutt was thereafter a permanent member of the TCB Band. Lately some online poll has been making the rounds on both the elvis presley and michael jackson fan groups on facebook. http://thekingofmusic.com/ At first freddie mercury had the lead. But then Elvis fans got wind of it and put Elvis on top. Soon Michael Jackson fans also learned about it and put michael up on top over Elvis. Three-time NASCAR championship winning crew chief Ray Evernham recently visited Graceland to shoot a segment for hisVelocity show AmeriCarna about the last car Elvis drove before he died, a  1973 Stutz Blackhawk III. While he was there, the Graceland folks told him the vehicle he really wanted to see was tucked away in a warehouse out back. There, under a sheet, was a rusty old 1948 Chevrolet Panel Van that they say Elvis used to use to sneak out of Graceland when he wanted to avoid his fans and the press.
