If case you missed it (and believe me the MSM is trying very hard to downplay this) One of the planes used as Air force One (yeah they got backups) did a low altitude fly-by of Ground Zero New York on April 27th 2009 at about 10:00 AM. When you read the above it doesn’t really excite anyone. Sounds routine, like such incidents happen everyday and no big deal, right? The problem is that words can’t really give the full impact of what happened. Luckily we live in the modern age where video cameras are everywhere and as such this...

OK, you're the young, mould-breaking, rockstar president of the US of A. You're on a visit to Britain that features (among other stuff) tea at Buck House, your first ever encounter with Her Maj. You've already been chastised, and not in a kind way, by the British press for presenting their prime minister with a gift of 25 Great American Movies on DVDs that may or may not have been compatible with British machinery. So now what do you give their octogenarian monarch who, you can safely assume, already has everything she could ever want? An iPod, of course. Engraved,...

PRESIDENT OBAMA:Extended cheers and applause. Hey! Thank you! Thank you so much. Good afternoon. Bon apres-midi-cheers, applause {cut} We also know that the pollution from cars in Boston...are melting the ice caps in the Arctic. {cut} And the United States certainly shares its - shares blame for what has happened. {cut} ...there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive. {cut} I've sent a clear message to the leaders and peoples of Iran.. And it is in that spirit that America and Europe must reach out to the vast majority of Muslims in our nations,...

President Barack Obama has stirred yet another controversy when he appeared to bow to the King of Saudi Arabia during the recent G20 Economic Summit. The appropriateness of an elected President bowing before an absolute monarch has been questioned. The writer Mark Steyn suggested, rather caustically, "So let me see if I understand American protocol in the age of Obama: The First Lady hugs Queen Elizabeth as if she's some granny at a seniors' center photo-op, but the President of this republic prostrates himself before King Abdullah as if he's a subject of the Saudi pseudo-Crown." While the behavior of...

In the most recent survey, 49% rate his job performance as excellent or good and 50% as fair...

There's a special relationship that exists between Barack Obama and his teleprompter.

Has Obama hit the end of the honeymoon at 60 days in office? According to a new Zogby poll, Obama has hit 50% in his latest job-approval polls. The Boston Herald covers the details offered by the pollster: Pollster John Zogby said his poll out today will show Americans split on the president’s performance. He said the score factors out to “about 50-50.” Some polls show Obama coasting with a 65 percent job approval, but not in Zogby’s tally. “The numbers are going down,” Zogby told the Herald. “It’s not because of the gaffes, but a combination of high expectations...

Barack Obama is one clever dude, operating with the shill and charm of the aluminum-siding salesman from the South Side of Chicago. The difference between the president and the real thing is that the aluminum-siding salesman makes his jokes about handicapped children off-camera. .... But the president flies off to Turkey next month to "Respect Islam" by paying tribute to the Islamist government in Istanbul and to participate in the "Alliance of Civilizations," a Blabbonian gabfest sponsored by the United Nations to project the Islamist agenda. It's not at all clear what, exactly, Islam and the West have anything to...

President Obama failed to consult Congress, as promised, before carving out exceptions to the omnibus spending bill he signed into law — breaking his own signing-statement rules two days after issuing them — and raised questions among lawmakers and committees who say the president's objections are unclear at best and a power grab at worst. In at least one case, lawmakers charge, Mr. Obama used his first signing statement, on the catch-all $410 billion spending bill, to go beyond the Bush and Clinton administrations in swatting away Congress' attempt to protect whistleblowers. "Not only is your signing statement contrary to...

President Obama told Californians during a campaign-style town hall meeting on Wednesday that rich people can afford to pay higher taxes in selling his budget plan as an investment in the nation's future. Mr. Obama pushed back on people who say he is overtaxing the nation, saying his tax increases on families earning $250,000 or more a year are reverting to the tax system under former President Bill Clinton. The president added he will pay higher taxes himself as a result. "These folks can afford it. They were rich back in the '90s," he said. "It's not like suddenly they're...

Every day...it is getting better. We hear things like "The president is just overwhelmed" and "he was too tired to greet the PM from England". Then--He appears on Leno, and does Final Four predictions!! He proposes DUMB things like making veterans pay for their OWN medical care with their OWN insurance. He wants a "cap and trade" scheme that will return us to the "bad old days" of 4+ dollar a gallon gas, skyrocketing energy bills and higher cost for ALL of our products and services. He has proposed a MULTI--TRILLION dollar "bailout" that is NOT helping ANYTHING. He is...

TOTUS RULES!By Judi McLeod Wednesday, March 18, 2009 You didn’t hear the horns blowing, but TOTUS--Teleprompter of the United States of America--is here. Rush Limbaugh said it first. While you were busy trying to save your job, your house, your family and your faith in America, TOTUS had already morphed from POTUS. It was a clever enough shtick because you can’t shout down a teleprompter. Call it a liar all you want, it will just continue on to the next paragraph in the text. TOTUS is not just missing promised transparency, Hope and Change, it has absolutely no human feelings....

COSTA MESA, Calif. – President Barack Obama said Wednesday he still supports "comprehensive immigration reform," even though he rarely mentions it anymore. Asked about the emotional and politically delicate topic at a town hall format in Southern California, the president said the nation must find a way to strengthen its borders while also giving about 12 million illegal immigrants a path to possible citizenship. "If they stay in the shadows," he said, some employers will exploit them, hurting wages and work conditions for all American workers. Obama said illegal residents who have been in the United States a long time...

I’ve been searching for the video of Obama accidentally reading Irish PM Brian Cowen’s speech yesterday. He even thanks himself at the end! Apparently his teleprompter went loopy. If this were GWB, the video would be everywhere, yet I can’t find a clip on the Internet of a public press conference that took place yesterday. It will come out, but this is amazing. Thank Sky News for doing its job: Mr Cowen stopped, turned to the president and said: “That’s your speech.” A laughing Mr Obama returned to the podium to take over but it seems the script had finally...

It’s official. President Barack Obama will hold his town hall meeting Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Building 12. And it’s going to be free and open to the public, that is for those people who want to spend St. Patrick’s Day morning waiting on line for tickets. I’m hearing there will be 2,000 total tickets, including probably a couple of hundred already spoken for by public officials and people who worked on the Obama campaign. Here’s the deal: They’ll be distributing tickets starting tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the OC Fair and Event Center, 88...

The furor over the huge federal spending under President Obama — a $1.75 trillion deficit — obscures an even more basic question: Does he know what he is doing? That is, Does he know how to do anything other than spend? His stimulus package, of course, took no special ability: He left the details to Democrats in Congress. But his two other major initiatives, banking and mortgage-relief plans, are both flawed and unlikely to solve their respective problems. Indeed, they're so wide of the mark as to prompt questions not of Obama's ideology but of his basic competence. The bank-bailout...

The Obama administration is highly critical over the recent AIG executive bonuses controversy. The administration is once again trying to blame the Bush Administration for its faulty bailout which enables AIG to pay out such bonuses using tax-payer funds. Reality Check: Obama and his administration need to look in the mirror! Last fall, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner not only consulted with then-Secretary Hank Paulson, it was Geithner, not Paulson, who put together the original rescue plan for the American International Group (AIG)!
