HOUSTON – Four Klein ISD campuses were put on lockdown Wednesday afternoon while police searched for a murder suspect in a nearby neighborhood. The lockdown started around 2 p.m. at Klein High, Kleb Intermediate, Mittelstadt Elementary and Klein Annex, and district officials said it was not immediately clear when the students would be released. Police were searching for the suspect, Zumbotha Newsome, in the Wimbledon Estates subdivision. Newsome is wanted in connection with the shooting death of Damien Goss on April 15, 2012.
