Andrew Anglin, 30, the publisher of the neo-Nazi website Daily Stormer, wouldn’t say where he was. He wouldn’t even say if he was in America. Anglin has gotten a lot of media requests after the Southern Poverty Law Center said Dylann Roof, the man accused of killing nine black parishioners in Charleston, S.C., last week, was possibly a commenter on the Daily Stormer, Anglin said in a Skype audio interview Tuesday. Anglin decided to respond to a Los Angeles Times interview request because -- it’s a small world -- he saw the reporter tweet Monday night about reading “The Forever...

As a totalitarian regime the Third Reich developed its own language, a perversion of the German language. The control of hearts and minds, to which totalitarian political systems aspire, necessitates such a perversion of the normal use of language. Meaning is twisted and distorted in such a way that the citizens of a totalitarian state can no longer distinguish truth from falsehood. They are reduced to such a state of confusion and impotence that they can be fully manipulated by the dictatorial government.

It’s time to define the Democrats the way they’ve done to our people. Our readers don’t really need to see another column, post, or podcast about how the Supreme Court and the Obama administration has wrecked the America we used to know, and we’re past the time where we wallow in grief about how the country is lost. It’s not lost. The fight isn’t over until conservatives say it’s over. Are you really going to just sit there and let a bunch of high-school losers who found religion in campus cultural Marxism destroy the greatest society in world history? The Nazis,...

If same-sex marriage is used to pummel religious Americans into submission, it will be a disaster. I’ve supported same-sex marriage ever since I first heard the idea. And when I became a political columnist in the early 2000s—despite being the “conservative” at a good-sized newspaper—I was the only one at the paper (as far as I can recall) who unequivocally backed gay marriage publicly. Though I wasn’t gullible enough to believe I’d be persuading many readers, I was gullible enough to believe that my allies in the cause were merely concerned with “equality.” As we dig out from the avalanche...

Coeur d‘Alene, Idaho, city officials have laid down the law to Christian pastors within their community, telling them bluntly via an ordinance that if they refuse to marry homosexuals, they will face jail time and fines. The dictate comes on the heels of a legal battle with Donald and Evelyn Knapp, ordained ministers who own the Hitching Post wedding chapel in the city, but who oppose gay marriage, The Daily Caller reported. A federal judge recently ruled that the state’s ban on gay marriage was unconstitutional, while the city of Coeur d‘Alene has an ordinance that prevents discrimination based on...

Much has been said about this post, including a good bit of heat toward me for putting on the front. There is much that could be said. I disagree with a lot of the theology. In particular, I disagree with this: Is Homosexuality a Sin? I. Do. Not. Care. Luke 10 tells the story of a legal expert who queried Jesus about what was required to inherit eternal life. Christ turned the question back on its questioner, and this man whose entire life revolved around studying the law of God summed it up in two points: “‘Love the Lord your God with...

First, let us call this event for what it is: SCOTUS ruled that same-sex marriage is to be imposed upon all 50 states. A 5-to-4 majority of unelected judges with lifetime tenure standardized a law throughout the nation -- and in the process, over-ruled state laws that were enacted by referenda and elected representatives across the country. The effect was to close the debate for all time, making it so it is no longer subject to revision and review. I think you can figure where I’m coming from on this by now. I do not share the views with those...

Dear Ms. Haley: Has it dawned on you that you cannot – repeat - Cannot placate a mob of leftists bent on the destruction of freedom? That should have been obvious to you BEFORE your pandered to the masses. But alas, it should be readily apparent to you NOW. You could have simply waited a few news cycles and the whole thing would have blown over with the media chasing after yet another squirrel. This is what Communists on the Country’s left do all the time – they Stonewall (oops! Can I even use that expression any more?) delay and...

President Obama saying the n-word on Marc Maron‘s radio show set off basically everyone on the news biz, with lots of arguments over 1) the appropriateness of using the n-word, and 2) the appropriateness of the president using the n-word. Piers Morgan used the opportunity to bring up his piece from last year on why society needs to eradicate the n-word entirely and how black Americans should stop using it to discourage its use. He expounded on Twitter...

ZAGREB, Croatia (AP) — It was one of the biggest nights in Croatia's sporting calendar: a European Championship soccer qualifying match with Italy. Seconds after kick-off in a game beamed around the world, a gigantic swastika materialized on the pitch under the shocked gaze of European soccer officials. The swastika, sprayed by an unknown vandal with a chemical that became visible only when floodlights went on to start the game, has become the most potent symbol of a rise in ultra-nationalist sentiment that appears to be bleeding into the mainstream population in the European Union's newest member state. But it's...

U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) warns: It appears there will be another attempt by Tuesday to force through new executive powers for President Obama. A vote for TAA next week is a vote to send fast-track to the President’s desk and to grant him these broad new executive authorities. If that happens, it will empower the President to form a Pacific Union encompassing 40 percent of the world’s economy and 12 nations—each with one equal vote. ... Fast-track will not only apply to the Pacific Union, but can expedite an unlimited number of yet-unseen international compacts for six years. There...

Discovered inside the huge tranche of secretive Obamatrade documents released by Wikileaks are key details on how technically any Republican voting for Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) that would fast-track trade deals like the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal would technically also be voting to massively expand President Obama’s executive authority when it comes to immigration matters. The mainstream media covered the Wikileaks document dump extensively, but did not mention the immigration chapter contained within it, so Breitbart News took the documents to immigration experts to get their take on it. Nobody has figured how big a deal the documents uncovered...

.....Jerry Seinfeld avoids doing shows on college campuses. And while talking with ESPN’s Colin Cowherd on Thursday, the comedian revealed why: College kids today are too politically correct. “I hear that all the time,” Seinfeld said on The Herd with Colin Cowherd. “I don’t play colleges, but I hear a lot of people tell me, ‘Don’t go near colleges. They’re so PC.’”

Just when we thought the absurdity that marks every single day of Obama's reign could not possibly be surpassed, we learned that 4 hours (3 hours and 47 minutes to be precise) after the US president vowed to sign a new law banning bulk data collection by the NSA (named, for purely grotesque reasons, the "USA Freedom Act"), the Obama administration asked the secret Fisa surveillance court to ignore a federal court that found bulk surveillance illegal and to once again grant the National Security Agency the power to collect the phone records of millions of Americans for six months.

Next week, a 24-year-old man who knew Boston Marathon bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev is scheduled to appear in U.S. Federal Court for sentencing on obstruction of justice charges related to the 2013 attacks. Khairullozhon Matanov, a former taxi driver, did not participate in or have any prior knowledge of the bombings, according to U.S. authorities. What could land him 20 more years in prison — where he has been since his arrest — are the charges that he deleted video files from his computer and cleared his browser history in the days following the attacks. A Grand Jury indictment...

Conservatives have long considered it a given that free trade was a benefit to the American economy and that opening trade and reducing trade barriers would be a net positive for the United States. Obama’s Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) to advance it have turned that calculus on its head and amount to a new looting of American workers by the Republican and Democratic elites who are pushing it through Congress without even reading it. The fact that the document is classified and may only be accessed by Members of Congress after they’ve signed a...

According to Whitehouse; Fossil fuel companies and their allies are funding a massive and sophisticated campaign to mislead the American people about the environmental harm caused by carbon pollution. Their activities are often compared to those of Big Tobacco denying the health dangers of smoking. Big Tobacco’s denial scheme was ultimately found by a federal judge to have amounted to a racketeering enterprise. The Big Tobacco playbook looked something like this: (1) pay scientists to produce studies defending your product; (2) develop an intricate web of PR experts and front groups to spread doubt about the real science; (3) relentlessly...

In 1986, the liberal weekly The Village Voice had its offices picketed by aged left-wing protesters. What occasioned this protest was an interview columnist Paul Berman conducted with William Herrick, who had served in the Abraham Lincoln Brigade during the Spanish Civil War. According to Berman, Herrick, during the interview, “decided to tell me things that he had never told anyone, not even his wife, about his time in Spain.” Asserting that the Brigade “answered to the Communist chain of command, which included the GPU,” Herrick recounted how he was indirectly warned after he mildly criticized the Party. As he...

A Northwestern University professor was accused of retaliation and investigated after students claimed an article she had written had a “chilling effect” on students’s ability to report sexual misconduct.Writing on Friday in the Chronicle of Higher Education, Laura Kipnis describes an academic climate in which professors lay awake at night in fear of losing their careers over a single careless word or missed trigger warning. A new academic culture is rising in which hurt feelings are considered evidence of an attack. This hypersensitivity is being abetted by an expanding process of Title IX charges which allow anyone with an agenda...
