The rift within the Democratic Party was on full display at the California Democratic Party Convention on May 19 in Sacramento, California. Progressives joined members of National Nurses United, protesting the Democratic Party establishment’s refusal to support single payer healthcare system. Rather than follow through with Democratic rhetoric that healthcare is a human right, establishment Democrats have responded to voters by scolding and attacking them.

Reds manager Bryan Price went on a profane rant during his daily pregame meeting with reporters Monday, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. According to the Enquirer, Price was upset with the paper’s report Sunday that catcher Devin Mesoraco was not available to pinch-hit during Sunday’s loss to the Cardinals. During Monday’s meeting, after television cameras had left and about 10 reporters remained in the visiting manager’s office at Milwaukee’s Miller Park, Price asked Enquirer reporter C. Trent Rosecrans why he reported the information. “Well, as a fan, I’m wondering, here’s a spot for Devin Mesoraco, why isn’t he there?” Rosecrans...

"It's Friday night." That was Al Sharpton's sheepish way of excusing the not-suitable-for-network-TV line that a guest had just uttered on this evening's Politics Nation. Australian satiricist Josh Zepps' zinger came during a discussion of a video ad in which young girls drop repeated f-bombs, supposedly in defense of feminism. The ad was produced by a clothing company trying to cash in with t-shirts bearing PC messages against sexism and racism. Zinged Zepps: "I'm offended by the shamelessness of the cheap ploy of the people that got them to do it . . . There's something about this company that...
  • ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ Breaks F-Word Record

Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street” is all about excess. From orgies on a plane to cocaine and cash (or “fun coupons” as Leonardo DiCaprio’s character calls them), the financial drama thrives in taking it up a notch. So it should be no surprise that Paramount’s R-rated film sets the all-time record for the use of the f-word. According to Wikipedia, the word “f***” is used 506 times over “The Wolf of Wall Street’s” 180-minute running time. Previously, the record for a non-documentary was Spike Lee’s 1999 film “Summer of Sam” with 435 instances.

In the closing minute of today's Way Too Early on MSNBC, guest host Thomas Roberts invited viewers to use the hashtag #WayTooRowdy to submit descriptions of the best party they'd ever attended. The show proceeded to display a tweet from viewer N-Boyyy saying that "one time I had been to a party and there was this goat in the living room drinking beer from a bucket." Just one problem: MSNBC also displayed N-Boyyy's Twitter mini-bio, in which he described himself as "Just a kid living life and giving no f----s along the way." The f-bomb was unexpurgated on screen. View...

Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner gets very angry at the suggestion that he conduct the bank bailouts in a transparent manner, according to Neil Barofsky, the former special inspector general for the Treasury Department. “Neil, I have been the most f–king transparent secretary of the Treasury in this country’s entire f–king history!” Geithner shouted at Barofsky in 2009, the former inspector general writes in his new book Bailout: An Inside Account of How Washington Abandoned Main Street While Rescuing Wall Street. Now Sinker — a former punk magazine editor turned journalism professor in Chicago, tweeting his way into Chicagoan political fame — will begin a new Twitter-based short story project on The Huffington Post tomorrow, through its literary account @HuffPostBooks.

The following comments were made in a public speech last week by a man considering running for president of the United States. On gas prices: “We have nobody in Washington that sits back and says, ‘You’re not going to raise that f***ing price.’” On what he would say as president to China: “Listen, you mother f***ers, we’re going to tax you 25 percent.” On Iraq: “We build a school, we build a road, they blow up the school, we build another school, we build another road, they blow them up, we build again. That response is F You tea party. The F word is probably the only thing they come up with for anything! A group calling itself the Agenda project wants to start a counter revolution against the Tea Party movement and stifle its attempts to bring back freedom and liberty. Their movement is called F Tea. Basically all they do is shout the F word at tea party protesters and make death threats. With that in mind, and remembering what happened to Kenneth Gladney Not to mention other incidents of violence by the intolerant Democratic left, its no wonder Carrying firearms...
