Women are more likely to have been sexually assaulted by the age of 44 if they didn’t go to college, according to a new study from the University of Michigan. The study, spearheaded by sociology professor and researcher William Axinn, found that the risk of “experiencing forced intercourse” is more than 2.5 times greater for women who’ve attended little or no college. After more than six years’ intense focus on a purported campus rape crisis, Axinn’s study exposes the Obama administration’s Title IX regime for the elitist and politically-motivated overcorrection it was. Axinn and his team analyzed data from the...

"Feminism," a top lookup for 2017, was named Merriam-Webster's Word of the Year Tuesday. News reports have kept the word in top searches the past few years, but the dictionary said it was looked up 70 percent more this year than last. The official definition classifies the word as the "theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes" and "organized activity on behalf of women's rights and interests." Use of the word spiked this year, due in part to events like the Women's March in Washington, D.C., and similar marches worldwide. The word itself became the subject...

If you’re not up to date with the politically correct lingo, you should know that the concept of protected classes was created by leftists and it’s pretty much similar with the notion of identity politics. Basically, a protected class, whether we’re talking about minorities (blacks, Hispanics, “people of color”) or women/transgenders/gays/lesbians/whatever sexual so-called oppressed minority by the “patriarchy” (it all relates to Marx’s class war with a twist, now it’s a gender/sex/ethnicity war but the scope is the same, divide and conquer) has immunity/protection from “hate crime laws” which are destroying conservative movements on the Internet (Facebook, YouTube are cracking...

After the royal engagement to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle announced she wouldn’t be returning to her job as an actress on the hit TV show “Suits.†“I don’t see it as giving anything up,” Markle told BBC’s Mishal Husain in an interview. “I see it as a change. It’s a new chapter.”But that didn’t stop Jill Filipovic, author of “The H-Spot: The Feminist Pursuit of Happiness,†from calling that decision problematic. “[I]t’s so disappointing to see that she will be giving up her acting career after she weds,†Filipovic wrote in CNN, adding: In dozens of write-ups about the Markle-Windsor...

Too much baggage. They think that Warren can win, she looks foolish and she's looney looking. Also these sexual harassment stories, some of them like Moore, Lauer could be witchhunts. I don't think America is in the mood for feminists right now.

Fewer Millennials and youth in Generation Z are moving out of their parents’ homes than in recent previous generations. For the first time in the modern era, more 18- to 34-year olds live with their parents than in any other type of arrangement. That percentage reached its lowest point 45 years ago. In 1960, 62 percent of the nation’s 18- to 34-year-olds were living with a spouse or partner in their own household, and only one-in-five were living with their parents. How did this happen? The younger generations are used to their parents providing them with iPhones and cars. They’re...

16h Emily Lindin ✔ @EmilyLindin Here's an unpopular opinion: I'm actually not at all concerned about innocent men losing their jobs over false sexual assault/harassment allegations. Emily Lindin ✔ @EmilyLindin First, false allegations VERY rarely happen, so even bringing it up borders on a derailment tactic. It's a microscopic risk in comparison to the issue at hand (worldwide, systemic oppression of half the population). 2:46 PM - Nov 21, 2017 1,196 1,196 Replies 165 165 Retweets 735 735 likes

RUSH: Okay. I just have one more thing here before we swerve back into the sexual harassment story. And I have to tell you, folks, there’s a part of this that is beginning to make me nervous, as an umbrella thing, not specifically. I’m just spotting a trend, and I know you have too. I’m sure I’m not the only person in this crowd. But you know, this business of sexual abuse is quickly approaching the same dynamics as racism in our culture. And just as racism is a horrible thing to be accused of, and depending on how it’s...

About half the respondents in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll suspect that President Donald Trump broke the law during the presidential campaign, and just 3 in 10 Americans surveyed think that alleged wrongdoing ends with those who were charged this week by the special counsel. The poll finds substantial support for the investigation, with 58 percent approving of how special counsel Robert Mueller is handling it, and more — 68 percent — approving of the filing of federal charges against Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, and one of his associates. Donna Karan is still kicking herself. Almost two weeks ago, in a speech that could’ve been straight out of the Jihadist’s Guide to the Hijab, Karan gave a bizarre defense of her good friend, Harvey Weinstein. In between grinning broadly like the Cheshire Cat on Ritalin, the designer rambled on about how women could be asking for sexual harassment and groping because of how they dress. “How do we display ourselves, how do we present ourselves as women, what are we asking? Are we asking for it, you know, by presenting all the sensuality and all the sexuality?” she wondered....

I am in politics because every day, I get to work to make the world a little better—for my kids, and for yours. I’m proud of the dedicated work our team is doing to make Canada more open, more inclusive, more just—and gender equal. But some of the most important work I do is not as a political leader, but as a parent. Every day, at home, I have the astonishing and humbling opportunity—together with my wife Sophie—to nurture empathy, compassion, self-love, and a keen sense of justice in our three kids.

The Office for National Statistics in the United Kingdom has proposed that citizens should not be required to mention their gender in the next census so that transgender and other non-binary people do not feel discriminated against. The country is scheduled to hold the next national survey, which takes place every 10 years, in 2021, and if the ONS has its way, the citizens would be allowed to choose not to state their sex, The Times reports. The choice of male or female is "considered to be irrelevant, unacceptable and intrusive, particularly to trans participants, due to asking about sex...

FULL TITLE: Former Seattle Seahawks player says women are 'incapable of knowing football' and should stop trying to 'move into male spaces' Former Seattle Seahawks player John Moffitt said in a Facebook post on Sunday that women are 'incapable' of understanding football. In the post, the former offensive lineman, who retired from the NFL four years ago, also said women were 'moving into male spaces and demanding respect'. The comment comes five days after Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was criticized for saying he thought it was 'funny' that a female reporter was asking questions about wide receiver routes on...

And they celebrate President Trump’s decision to roll back the contraception mandate. If we believe the social elites, it’s truly a trying time to be a woman in America. Just last November, millions of us were coerced by our own deeply embedded (very deeply, in my case) loathing of our womanhood to vote against Hillary Clinton. And now, just as we’ve really started getting our voices back — albeit through the trope of silent protests based on a television show not exactly representative of American society — that nefarious squad in the White House has turned the screw and ended...

In the post, Ms. Cole, a film producer, said that Mr. Whedon “hid multiple affairs” with “his actresses, co-workers, fans and friends” during their 16-year marriage. His explanation for why he had so many female friends, she said, was that “his mother raised him as a feminist.” Moreover, Ms. Cole called out his “hypocrisy” for “preaching feminist ideals” while using their marriage as a “shield” to commit adultery. In essence, she branded Mr. Whedon, the director of the coming “Justice League” superhero film, a fake male feminist. It’s a label that appears to be gaining cultural currency, especially in the...

Could chatbots lend a non-judgemental ear to people making decisions about the end of their life? A virtual agent that helps people have conversations about their funeral plans, wills and spiritual matters is set to be trialled in Boston over the next two years with people who are terminally ill. People near the end of their lives sometimes don’t get the chance to have these important conversations before it’s too late, says Timothy Bickmore at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. So Bickmore and his team – which included doctors and hospital chaplains – built a tablet-based chatbot to offer spiritual...

In this op-ed, writer and journalist Laurie Penny, the author of the new book Bitch Doctrine: Essays for Dissenting Adults, explores female anger — why we hide it, why it's feared, how we can use it to change the world...Many women you know are angrier than you can possibly imagine. Most are pretty good at hiding it, having been taught to do so since childhood...Case in point: period jokes. How many times have you heard people dismiss and belittle a woman who dares to express emotion by telling her she’s probably menstruating? How many times have men in power —...
