They wanted to recruit volunteers to help get out the vote for their heroes. They were setting goals of 500 parties and 150,000 phone calls nationwide. They have listed people like Senator Feingold, Senator Boxer and Representative Perriello, "who stood tall against Big Insurance during the health care debate." Westboro Church has Arlington Cemetery in their sites on Tuesday, October 5,2010, 4:30 - 5:30PM. The DC Chapter is working on a permit to show our support for our fallen heroes and to counter the one-branch family tree called Phelps. We will be getting our permit from 3:30 - 6:30PM. In the past Phelps has permitted right outside Metro's Blue Line entrance. Until further notice that is where we will be. We will be keeping an eye on Westboro's schedule since they do change their schedule. Best way to get to Arlington Cemetery is to take the Metro blue line...

A New Jersey man who burned pages from the Koran outside a planned mosque near Ground Zero was fired from his job at NJ Transit, sources and authorities confirmed. Derek Fenton, an 11-year employee at NJ Transit, was fired Monday, the agency said in a statement, two days after he was photographed burning the Koran. "Mr. Fenton's public actions violated New Jersey Transit's code of ethics," NJ Transit said.

Here she is with Cindy-True-Supporter, who arrived a few minutes later We Support Our Troops! God Bless our Soldiers! 24 - 7! Thank You to Our Soldiers! ...all this while jumping up and down and waving the flag with much vigor. She has a voice that would make Luciano Pavarotti proud!
