Axelrod hits back at Cheney: Not behaving like a ’statesman’: Top Obama adviser David Axelrod sharply criticized Dick Cheney’s recent contention that the president’s national security policies have made the country less safe, suggesting the former vice president is not behaving like a “statesman.” [President Bush] has behaved like a statesman,” Axelrod told CNN’s John King on State of the Union regarding the former president’s decision not to criticize the new administration. “And as I’ve said before, here and elsewhere, I just don’t think the memo got passed down to the vice president.” Former President Bush has been a coward...

Obama failed to get European leaders to commit to U.S.-style stimulus packages or to get NATO allies to send more combat troops to Afghanistan. But he prevented French President Nicolas Sarkozy from walking out of the G20 summit, as he threatened to do earlier. He also helped persuade China to agree to publish lists of tax havens, and got NATO allies to agree to sending up to 5,000 more military trainers and police to Afghanistan.

What the hell is he talking about? Why would he even say this...? Q Thank you, Mr. President. In the context of all the multilateral activity that's been going on this week -- the G20, here at NATO -- and your evident enthusiasm for multilateral frameworks, to work through multilateral frameworks, could I ask you whether you subscribe, as many of your predecessors have, to the school of American exceptionalism that sees America as uniquely qualified to lead the world, or do you have a slightly different philosophy? And if so, would you be able to elaborate on it?PRESIDENT OBAMA:...

Today, April 4, 2009, North Korea launched a long range rocket in defiance of "warnings" by the United States. What does this remind me of--just less than 80 days into Hussein's occupation of the White House? Jimmy Carter's administration. The guy didn't scare anyone, because he was SO ANXIOUS to kiss their butts and try to be friends. The NKs do not fear Hussein. Neither does Putin/Medvedev. Neither does Hamas. Neither does Iran. Everyone knows his philosophy is to try and be pals with the scum of the earth. So now we see: our enemies defying our "demands", because they...

One of President Obama's puppet masters George Soros, admitted Nazi Collaborator and convicted inside trader is already showing the the influence he will have on an Obama government's foreign policy. Soros, who backed Obama during the presidential campaign, is a well- known advocate of a “New World Order” in which the U.S. subordinates its interests for those of the rest of the world. Some of the G20 results are his work and he is very happy with how the G20 turned out. He spoke to Maria Bartiromo of CNBC at the conclusion of the meetings where he lauded the news...

[Snip]Free trade has another, less appreciated benefit: It frees domestic resources for use in newer, more productive pursuits. Workers, land, steel, fuel, and other resources in the United States that were once used to make, say, shoes and television sets, are today used to design Web sites, to erect cellphone towers, to carry out research in pharmaceutical labs, to perform Lasik surgery, and to do countless other jobs that wouldn't exist if trade were less open. Trade fuels economic change, precisely what many crisis-wracked countries desperately need. Resources must be reallocated from inefficient activities -- such as the bloated housing...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: President Obama with a joint press conference this morning with Angela Merkel, she is perhaps unique on the world stage among all the European Union leaders in that she is not spellbound and she's not rendered a little high school cheerleader when Obama comes to town. A story here from Baden-Baden Germany: "Last time Barack Obama came to Germany, he was campaigning for the White House, met Angela Merkel, and was treated like a rock star by hundreds of thousands of people in Berlin. But today there's an undercurrent, however slight, of resentment against the United States...

Obama: “In America there is a failure to appreciate Europe’s leading role in the world. Instead of celebrating your dynamic union and seeking to partner with you to meet common challenges, there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.” Krauthammer: “It’s hard to appreciate an entity’s leading role in the world when it’s been sucking on your tit for 60 years as Europe has.” “I think what he did, in order to gain the adoration of the crowds, he denigrated his country in a way that I think is disgraceful.

The Washington Post has yet to run a story on President Obama's bow to the King of Saudi Arabia. The Post is not alone. It is a story that has the status of a great unmentionable among the MSM and apparently even on FOX News.

I doubt there's ever been anyone dumber on TV than this misguided liberal schmuck/Allan Colmes. He said it today on Fox News at around 12:30 PM ET, so there's no link available (yet?).

Those who thought that Dr Goebbels came to an end on a stretch of waste ground in Berlin in 1945 have been forced to think again. The piece of theatre that concluded in London on Thursday was one of the great confidence tricks of our lifetimes. Just getting the 20 most important heads of government on the planet together in one place and not being unpleasant about each other was, we must concede, something of an achievement. But it won't make a blind bit of difference to the world's economy. Nor, I imagine, will it have any effect on the...

Footage has emerged of the Queen appearing to express mild irritation at Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi for being too noisy. The incident took place as the Queen posed with world leaders from the G20 summit in the traditional "family" photograph at Buckingham Palace. Mr Berlusconi then shouted "Mr Obama", prompting Her Majesty to turn around in mock frustration at the noise. Buckingham Palace have denied that any offence was taken by the Queen. The footage has been placed on the YouTube website and has quickly proved to be a popular clip. 'Loud and jolly' A palace spokeswoman said the...

G20: Advantage Nicolas Sarkozy vs Les Anglo-Saxons? Posted By: Henry Samuel at Apr 3, 2009 at 13:43:39 "A new world is emerging before our eyes," wrote Le Monde in breathless tones in its editorial dated today. "A world less Anglo-Saxon." "The irony is that it is in Washington (in November 2008) and in London that the ultraliberal bracket opened 20 years ago by Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher is now closing." This is certainly the message that Nicolas Sarkozy is bringing home with him, after a crafty and, it has to be said, effective, bit of political theatre. First we...

London-Maybe it should have been called O-20. Just over two months into his presidency, Barack Obama commanded center stage at this high-wattage gathering of the world's industrialized nations, vacuuming up attention both inside the summit and throughout a sophisticated city not easily star-struck. Obama proclaimed at the end of the conference that his country would be more humble in the world, but there was nothing modest about the attention he received.

In an interview on CNN.com on Friday titled “Zakaria: Obama disappoints as world leader,” author and CNN anchor Fareed Zakaria threw cold water on the media’s laudatory coverage of President Obama’s trip to Europe: “Although he brought a lot of star power -- the talk of the week -- at least in certain circles in Washington, New York and London -- has been that President Obama is failing in his role as leader of the free world.” He cited a columnist overseas to support his opinion, something that hasn’t really been done in the media’s coverage of the trip. Zakaria...

G20 agrees to global economy under the IMF (International Monetary Fund) supervision. Our President and Treasury Secretary have given away our control over our own economical decisions. We were an independent nation, without need to give away any of our sovereignty. Dick Morris appeared on Greta Van Susteran and talked about the new Global Economy established by G20, and Obama's role. See Morris video at this link: http://www.foxnews.com/ontherecord/
