$1000 dollar Haircut? Not By My Calculations I did a little research. Then I went to an independent source to confirm that research. Here is what I found about the $1000 dollar haircut cost. Corroborated by a phone call to Signature Flight Support in San Francisco [also located in DC], the Flying Squirrel [Gulfstream V] would consume approximately 660-700 Gallons [5500-5700 pounds] of Kerosene to fly from Washington DC to Pittsburgh. Also Corroborated by Signature Flight Support was my calculated mileage including pattern approach and departure[300 nm x 2]. To fly a Gulfstream V to Pittsburgh, and back, from Reagan...

Internet reporter Matt Drudge reported last week (in 2002) that Kerry, who is married to Pittsburgh pickle princess Teresa Heinz, gets his regular coif at the tony Cristophe Salon.

If the name sounds familiar, it's because the salon's eponymous founder has gained notoriety by also cutting the hair of both Bill and Hillary Clinton.

A Malaysian teenager was given a forced haircut by Muslim authorities who deemed his punk-style "Mohican" un-Islamic. The Star newspaper reported yesterday that the unnamed 17-year-old - described as a high school dropout - was caught by the Islamic Development Unit of Kota Baru, Kelantan, a north-eastern state controlled by the Islamic political party PAS. The newspaper said officials lectured him against emulating "destructive culture" before taking the scissors to his red-dyed Mohican. Kelantan and neighbouring Terengganu are two of Malaysia's 13 states where the Parti Islam se-Malaysia (PAS) holds power.

From the pool of Democrats who have declared themselves as presidential candidates, Sen. John Kerry was the leading choice in a recent Zogby poll of New Hampshire Democrats. If the Democrats hire an honest and credible consultant, unless the Law of Contradicting Terms makes that impossible, they'll conclude that the reason for their failings in past presidential races was due to the fact that their nominee got defeated in the hair department. In past Democrat defeats, their candidate always had the worst hair. Reagan had better hair than Carter; George H.W. Bush had better hair than Dukakis, who looked as...

XXXXX DRUDGE REPORT XXXXX SUN APRIL 06, 2003 18:49:38 ET XXXXX KERRY 'REGIME CHANGE' ECHO CHAMBER Massachusetts Senator John Kerry may have been the first presidential candidate to publicly call for a "regime change" in Washington, but other pillars of the party have been indoctrinating the term for months, research shows. At a fund-raising concert for House Democrats last October, ActressSingerMotherDirectorCitizenWifeProducer Barbra Streisand called for a "regime change" in Washington and said, "I find bringing the country to the brink of war unilaterally five weeks before an election questionable -- and very, very frightening." Rev. Jesse Jackson: "We need a...

Edwards Should Prove His Populism 2003-01-03 AS HE tossed his hat into the 2004 presidential ring this week, North Carolina Sen. John Edwards vowed he would be a "champion for regular people." Don't we wish. The handsome, well-spoken 49-year-old Democrat is just the latest politician to declare himself one of the people, a populist who will fight for the little guy in the circles of power. In reality Edwards is a multimillionaire, his money made as a high-powered trial lawyer. No shame in that, but Americans should be wary if they see television spots of the senator piloting a tractor...
