A Murray City police officer pleaded innocent last week to negligent-homicide charges related to a car wreck that claimed the life of a 19-year-old woman a year ago. Officer Carla Redding also was charged May 29 with negligent collision, a class B misdemeanor, and speeding, a class C misdemeanor. Negligent homicide is a class A misdemeanor.
