Bird Rescued From Heat CLACKAMAS, Ore. -- A chicken was rescued Tuesday from a hot truck. An anonymous tip brought a livestock deputy to the Clackamas Village Place Apartments on Scottstree Way, where she found a hen locked inside a pickup truck parked in the sun with the windows up. A locksmith was eventually called to open the door, and they found the animal inside with no water.
