Even The Huffington Post cannot let the down-ballot gutting of the Democrats go unnoticed. Senior politics editor Sam Stein was on MSNBC’s Morning Joe Wednesday, where he said that while Obama was re-elected twice proving himself to be an excellent candidate—his party has suffered catastrophic losses during his presidency. In all, the Democrats have lost 1,030 seats at the state and federal level, a wipeout of at least a generation of Democratic talent. Stein added that with such a political butcher’s bill, you have to ask whether this man was good for Democrats (via The Hill):

Trump was all over the news, but Clinton’s scandals — or “scandals” — owned Twitter. There’s no question that Donald Trump dominated media coverage during the 2016 campaign.... But on Twitter, it was a different story. Clinton’s use of a private email server during her time as SoS, ... and subsequent WikiLeaks releases that targeted her campaign and the Democratic Party, dominated Twitter discussions about the presidential election during 2016, according to a study put out by the data and polling firm Echelon Insights. (Echelon -founded .. run by a Republican pollster and strategist.) Echelon compiled data from nearly 2...

A Huffington Post writer appeared to criticize the baseball shooter for poor planning Wednesday, saying “violent resistance” has to be more organized to “work.” “For violent resistance to work it’d need to be organized,” writer Jesse Benn tweeted. “Individual acts can be understandable, but likely counterproductive/ineffective.” {..snip..}

Yashar Ali is being sued over stories about sexual harassment via text message. Recently suspended Fox News host Eric Bolling is suing journalist Yashar Ali for defamation and is seeking $50 million in damages. The lawsuit comes just days after Ali wrote an August 4 story for HuffPost claiming more than a dozen sources told him Bolling sent "an unsolicited photo of male genitalia via text message to at least two colleagues

Fox News host Eric Bolling took the first legal step toward suing Huffington Post journalist Yashar Ali for $50 million over Ali’s report last week that he was accused of sending unsolicited, lewd text messages to female colleagues. “Just received a summons. Eric Bolling is suing me for defamation – $50 million in damages. I stand by my reporting + will protect my sources,†Ali tweeted. “It’s important to note that Bolling’s summons does not include HuffPost – he is coming after me personally. I’m a big boy…but very telling.†The “summons with  notice†means Bolling can file a lawsuit later, and states...

On Friday, the day after two women accused Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) of harassment, HuffPo published an article titled, “The Framing Of Al Franken By Two Trump Supporters; And The Dems Are Playing Right Along.” The piece is written by David Fagin, a frequent HuffPo contributor. According to Media Equalizer, the story was removed just a few hours later (the archive can be seen here). According to the archive, HuffPo not only called into the question the credibility of both accusers, Fagin also smeared them personally. “I’m sorry. But something is rotten in Denmark. Two Trump supporting, right-wing zealots come...

Tom DeLonge...spent many years studying UFOs, and essentially left his previous lucrative career to devote himself to this pursuit, using his own personal income and resources to set up an entertainment company called To The Stars (TTS). It had the goal of disseminating information about UFOs, consciousness, the paranormal and other unexplained mysteries through artistic pursuits such as fiction and non-fiction books, feature films, and television productions. Most importantly, while doing so, Tom was gradually able to establish relationships with flag officers and other highly placed insiders in the aerospace industry, intelligence, the Department of Defense and NASA. These independent...

Then, in late 2016, Wikileaks published a number of Tom’s emails to John Podesta, which revealed the names of some of these sources. Among his advisors were two generals: one was a commander of the U.S. Air Force’s research laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and responsible for managing the Air Force’s $2.2 billion science and technology program; the other was the Special Assistant to the Commander of Air Force Space Command at Peterson Air Force Base. As devastating as this was to some, it established for those who doubted him that Tom was indeed telling the truth about his...

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write and admit: Trump is winning. In the brief space of a week, he won a brief court fight to shove Mick Mulvaney to head the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Mulvaney wasted no time in unhinging a spate of consumer protection rulings, regulations, and personnel hires made during the Obama years. His SCOTUS pick, Neil Gorsuch, eagerly cast a vote to impose the Muslim travel ban. His EPA head, Scott Pruitt, delivered a couple million acres of public monument land in the West to oil, gas, and coal industry...

When Susan Fowler rocked Uber’s world with a meticulous account of the company’s sexual harassment and gender discrimination issues, the ride-sharing service turned to its only female board member to help clean up its culture (and its image). Arianna Huffington was perfectly poised to position herself as the feminist savior who would advocate for Uber’s women—she oversaw the subsequent Eric Holder investigation, and promised that “no brilliant jerks will be allowed, and no one will be protected because they are top performers.” But being a powerful woman with a stake in a company, and its profits, doesn’t mean Huffington was...

A protester confronted President Trump on Tuesday at the U.S. Capitol, shouting “Trump is treason!” Mr. Trump was headed into a luncheon with Republican senators when a man in a crush of reporters threw a handful of miniature Russian flags emblazoned with the name “Trump.” The man, dressed in a suit and tie, had blended in with the press who were watching as the president walked past. He later identified himself to reporters as Ryan Clayton, a liberal activist whose writing has been featured in the Huffington Post and who has appeared as a commentator on a variety of TV...

A protester threw Russian flags at President Trump on Tuesday as he entered the GOP policy lunch. The protester could be heard shouting "Trump is treason" as the president walked by. "Why are you talking about tax cuts when you should be talking about treason?" the man could be heard shouting in videos.

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case on President Donald Trump’s ban on visitors from six Muslim-majority countries. The case will be argued in October. Within two weeks of taking office, Trump issued an executive order restricting visits from seven Muslim-majority countries for three months and suspending America’s refugee resettlement program, arguing that federal officials needed to review the vetting process in the interest of national security. The order fulfilled one of the new president’s most controversial campaign promises. But the chaotic weekend that ensued ― dozens of people detained at airports and protests nationwide ― also played...

On the Revocation of White Privilege in North Korea “That’s what the hell he gets. Good for him!” My mother had uttered those words in her typical matter-of-fact tone one morning as she watched the news. “He” was Michael Fay, an 18-year-old from Ohio who had confessed to vandalizing cars in Singapore, and was subsequently sentence to six lashes from a rattan cane. I was in sixth grade and all I could imagine was how horrible the pain would be. My mother was unmoved at the thought, remarking, “He earned that.” I thought about my mother’s words a few days...

WASHINGTON ― Some of the Trump administration’s nominees have pushed back against the government’s ethics requirements with “a ferocity we’ve not previously seen,” Walter Shaub, the director of the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, told a top White House lawyer in an email this week. Shaub was responding to Reince Priebus, President Donald Trump’s chief of staff, who, when asked on Fox News Wednesday why the White House has been slow to fill key positions, claimed that many nominees were “sitting and waiting for OGE.” “That’s not the case,” Shaub wrote in an email sent to Stefan Passantino, the White...

In light of fast food and wages being talk in the news along with Trump's droppin da bomb, I thought I'd share this study refuting a study about forcing McDonalds and oteher places to increase their wages. I haven't seen it here, I figure its time to get it up

.@HuffingtonPost why was your writer Ryan Clayton passing out Russian flags @ @realDonaldTrump #CPAC2017 speech? Trying to create #fakenews? https://t.co/lfOuywyHIg— James O'Keefe (@JamesOKeefeIII) February 24, 2017

Now that it has dawned on most of the leftwing opponents of President Trump that removing him from office via impeachment or the 25th amendment is very unlikely, what is left for them? Well, Jo Confino of the Huffington Post recommends consulting the writings of a Zen master for advice. Unfortunately, the recommendations offer little solace for the exceedingly angry diehard leftists as we shall see:

PHILADELPHIA ― President Donald Trump appeared before a supportive group of lawmakers at the congressional GOP’s annual retreat Thursday to cheer on his own anti-trade, anti-immigration, anti-Obamacare rhetoric. But there was a key difference between his usual speeches and the one he delivered here: Republicans now have the ability to make law. “We’re actually going to sign the stuff that you’re writing,” Trump said to House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.). “You’re not wasting your time!”
