What we have been seeing worldwide, from India to the UK to the US, is the rebellion against the inner circle of no-skin-in-the-game policymaking “clerks” and journalists-insiders, that class of paternalistic semi-intellectual experts with some Ivy league, Oxford-Cambridge, or similar label-driven education who are telling the rest of us 1) what to do, 2) what to eat, 3) how to speak, 4) how to think… and 5) who to vote for. But the problem is the one-eyed following the blind: these self-described members of the “intelligenzia” can’t find a coconut in Coconut Island, meaning they aren’t intelligent enough to define...

MSNBC’s Chris Hayes is thrilled beyond belief that New York and New Jersey experienced bombings over the weekends. His rationale? At least they didn’t use guns. Can you believe someone could be so stupid to say something like that? How does this child hold down a steady job? Even for a liberal network, it’s ridiculous they allow this sort of thing. I’m not mincing words, either. Read his tweets.

(CNSNews.com) – The Unites States should phase-out all denominations of the U.S. dollar larger than a $10 bill to thwart money launderers and tax evaders, Harvard economist Kenneth Rogoff told attendees at a Council on Foreign Relations event this week in Washington, D.C.“Cash is not used in ordinary retail transactions. It’s used by tax evaders and in a lot of crime of all types, including drug trafficking, human trafficking, extortion, racketeering, you name it,” said Rogoff, a member of the economic advisory panel of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and author of The Curse of Cash.“Cash is being used...

What is it about traveling abroad that seems to encourage President Obama to unload all manner of grievances on the United States? For whatever reason, traveling abroad appears to help crystallize everything wrong he sees in America. During his recent trip to Cuba and Argentina, for example, we counted 18 separate times he talked down his employer, the United States of America. His just-concluded trip to Asia was no different. Here are 18 separate attacks he unloaded while in China and Laos: 1.There are still too many poor children in the United States 2.Too many children in America are not...

Police searching for a Florida man in connection to a battery case discovered that he was using his wanted poster and mug shot from another case as his Facebook profile picture, authorities said. "Facebook is a great way to communicate and connect with old friends and family," Cpl. Brian Bossio wrote in a post on the Stuart Police Department's Facebook page. "If you are wanted by the police, it's probably not a good idea to use the 'Wanted of the Week' poster of yourself as your profile pic."

Just observed a vehicle with bright flashing yellow lights proceeding at about 5 mph spraying a fog or mist at about a 45 degree up angle on my street at 1:41 am. Spray mist went up about 8-9 feet above ground level. I listen to the local news extensively and there has not been any mention of this activity on any radio station in any form.

96 Camry V6, 166k miles, engine = 1MZFE (I think) Flushed engine, changed oil, got a low oil-pressure light, pulled over. Dropped oil pan, cleared out a TON of oil boogers that were in the pan, YIKES..! Also swished the oil pick-up tube around in some flush solution, cleared the screen. Drove around a week and it was FINE..! Then oil pressure light returned :( Swapped out the oil pressure sender switch (don't have the oil pressure tester gauge but I ordered one) and the oil pressure light did come with the new switch. Hoping it's more oil boogers in...

Monday on his nationally syndicated talk show, Glenn Beck accused Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump of creating a conservative version of Black Lives Matter. Beck said, “He’s making a new group of Black Lives Matter. He’s making a new group of people that so distrust and hate the system that they will buy anything. It was a rigged election, the media ought to go to jail, and it’s these Republicans, and not look at whose leading that. OK. Same thing. Same thing. They start with a good reason like Black Lives Matter.”

History is a lie. Or, rather, a complex galaxy of truths, half-truths, exaggerations, and downplayings that together form a narrative. We don’t write histories because we want to record what really happened; we write them in order to provide ourselves with a meaningful story. We write history because we, as humans, have a fundamental need for meaning in life. We yearn to make order out of chaos, we feel we have to derive positive significance from the hardship and the trials of the everyday. In this sense, history, far from being an accurate record of reality, is an escape from...

Seddique Mateen made that unbelievable statement after inviting reporters to his home in Port St. Lucie, FL. He believes the club was woefully unprepared for the number of patrons it had that night. His gall is breathtaking, but watch ... he actually tries to justify his comment during the interview with Orlando's FOX35. Florida Rep. Alan Grayson used the aftermath of Sunday’s Islamic terror attack to claim AR-15 semi-automatic rifles can fire 700 rounds per minute. Security guard Omar Mateen killed 49 people and wounded over 50 others during an attack on a gay nightclub — the worst mass shooting in U.S. history. Mr. Grayson, a Democrat, was asked about the massacre and soon turned his attention to the AR-15 rifle. ... “If [Mr. Mateen] was not able to buy a weapon that shoots off 700 rounds in a minute, a lot of those people would still be alive,” the congressman said. “If...

MONTGOMERY, N.J. – New Jersey education officials say a school was allowed to give detention to a sixth-grader who told a student who doesn't eat meat that "vegetarians are idiots" and that "he should eat meat because he'd be smarter and have bigger brains." The Courier News of Bridgewater reports the state education commissioner's office ruled the Montgomery school district was allowed to discipline the student. It happened in the Lower Middle School in 2014. School officials found the comments were harassment, intimidation and bullying because they targeted a "distinguishing characteristic" under state law. The student received five detentions. The...

Jeb Bush said on Saturday he understands why supporters are backing Donald Trump, but was critical of the way Trump is "preying on people's angst rather than offering tangible solutions." Speaking at an event in Amsterdam hosted by the Nexus Institute, the former presidential candidate discussed the rise of Trump, and of Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders. "What I fear is that people, kind of looking down their nose, will say the people that are supporting Donald Trump are a bunch of idiots. They're not. They're legitimately scared. They're fearful. They're not as optimistic for legitimate reasons and there should be...
