KABUL, Aug 13 (AFP) - Afghan President Hamid Karzai stripped powerful warlord Ismail Khan of his post as military commander of western Afghanistan in a major reshuffle of provincial governors and officials, the state Bakhtar news agency and officials said on Wednesday.
