In a recent article on the “white supremacist,” “Islamophobic” “terrorist” attack in Portland that occurred over the Memorial Day weekend courtesy of a “Trump supporter,” I noted that, as of yet, we knew remarkably little of what actually happened. That is, we knew not nearly enough to substantiate the leftist press’s angle on the events that transpired on a Portland train. Jeremy Christian went on an “anti-Muslim” rant against two Muslim women, so went the official line. Three men, “heroes” is how they were being described, came to their defense. The men stood up to “racist hate.” For their efforts, the...

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Jeremy Joseph Christian yelled at court staff during his jail booking, newly filed court documents show. When Christian was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center, he was placed in an isolation cell, according to jail records. The same records show that Christian told court staff that he is transient and doesn’t know the last time he had a permanent address. Christian is accused of slashing the throats of three men on board a MAX train as it approached the Hollywood Transit Center on Friday in Northeast Portland. The three men, according to police, were defending...

PORTLAND, Ore. — The man accused of killing two people last Friday night appears to have been caught on video ranting about religion, taxes and violence aboard a MAX train the day prior to the attack. *** "I police the police. Looks like we got a Christian or Muslim bus driver, I'll stab you too [expletive], move forward, move forward MAX driver! [Expletive] you ... I'm about to stab some [expletive]" the man yelled. (My note: I've written down most of what he said and I could hear. See post #1)

As his city mourns two men who were killed after confronting a man screaming anti-Muslim slurs, Mayor Ted Wheeler (D) is calling on federal officials to block what he called “alt-right demonstrations” from happening in downtown Portland, Ore. His concern is that the two rallies, both scheduled in June, will escalate an already volatile situation in Portland by peddling “a message of hatred and of bigotry.” Although the organizers of the rallies have a constitutional right to speak, “hate speech is not protected by the First Amendment,” Wheeler told reporters.

Portland, Oregon Mayor Ted Wheeler, a Democrat, has acted to suspend the First Amendment rights of Trump supporters and those opposed to Islamic sharia law by banning demonstrations planned for Portland in the coming weeks, following the killings of two men (and the wounding of a third man) who intervened against a man harassing a Muslim woman and her friend on public transportation. Wheeler is also demanding the federal government do the same and revoke or not issue demonstration permits for the rallies which are set to be held on federal property in Portland.

Following news that a white supremacist has been accused of stabbing and killing several men who attempted to stop him from harassing Muslim women on a train, many have called for President Donald Trump to do something about the violence, with the implication being that the suspect is obviously one of his supporters. *** The Council on American-Islamic Relations also joined in on the fun, demanding that Trump denounce “rising bigotry” against Muslims. “President Trump must speak out personally against the rising tide of Islamophobia and other forms of bigotry and racism in our nation that he has provoked through...

A man fatally stabbed two people and injured a third on a commuter train in Oregon’s largest city Friday as people confronted him for “yelling a gamut of anti-Muslim and anti-everything slurs,” a Portland police spokesman said.
