Terror group ISIS has released an 11-minute long video where it warns the United States of another 9/11-style attack. The militants said that America's geographical location won't bring it the safety it perceives to have, and warned that an "army of Jihad" is coming. The Independent noted that the video, titled "We Will Burn America," is not the first of its kind – in January, the group warned to beheaded President Barack Obama and turn America into a Muslim province. ISIS has captured significant territory in Iraq and Syria and has looked to expand its Islamic caliphate across the region....

Major Stephen Coughlin (Ret.), a decorated intelligence officer known as the Pentagon’s leading expert on Islamic law has authored a forthcoming book, “Catastrophic Failure: Blindfolding America in the Face of the Jihad,” that serves as a damning indictment of America’s national security establishment in the face of the global jihad, and provides a chilling message to the American people. We had the opportunity to discuss Coughlin’s new book in a wide-ranging interview that you can find below. During our discussion, Coughlin goes into great depth on the thesis of his book, providing keen insights into the nature and doctrinal basis...

Just 15 days before the 9/11 attacks, a well-connected Saudi family suddenly abandoned their luxury home in Sarasota, Fla., leaving behind jewelry, clothes, opulent furniture, a driveway full of cars — including a brand new Chrysler PT Cruiser — and even a refrigerator full of food. About the only thing not left behind was a forwarding address. The occupants simply vanished without notifying their neighbors, realtor or even mail carrier. The 3,300-square-foot home on Escondito Circle belonged to Esam Ghazzawi, a Saudi adviser to the nephew of then-King Fahd. But at the time, it was occupied by his daughter and...

We recently came across an article on a web site that we have been reading for years that provides us with a teaching moment. The web site in question is Strategy Page (http://www.strategypage.com). It is an excellent web site dedicated to news and analysis of military affairs and international security. Recently Strategy Page published an article on terrorism and addressed terrorism financing as part of that article. Specifically, they referred to Islamic charities and demonstrated a lack of understanding of the role of zakat and Islamic charities. Here is the passage in question:

Over the course of America’s recent debate on “religious freedom” laws, most potential Republican candidates for president were hesitant to come down too hard in either direction. Jeb Bush appeared to shift his position on the issue and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) more or less ignored it. But not Ted Cruz. The Texas Republican and first-declared GOP presidential candidate is still speaking out strongly in favor of the laws that many believe would have sanctioned discrimination, even after the governors of Indiana and Arkansas were forced to demand changes to prevent such an outcome. And on Thursday, at a presidential...

During a presidential candidate forum hosted by an Iowa homeschool group yesterday, Ted Cruz lashed out at the gay community for waging a “jihad†against so-called religious freedom laws in states such as Arkansas and Indiana.Cruz, speaking at a panel moderated by conservative talk show host Steve Deace, who regularly castigates the “Rainbow Jihad,†told the crowd of homeschooling activists that they should fear “the jihad that is being waged right now in Indiana and Arkansas, going after people of faith who respect the biblical teaching that marriage is the union of one man and one woman.â€By condemning this gay...

The liberal group Right Wing Watch cut a video of Ted Cruz saying something they thought was über controversial. But it wasn’t something he said in private. He said it in a forum with other Republicans moderated by Steve Deace in front of a crowd.

“The belief that Islam is a peaceful religion and that Islamic terrorists have twisted that faith to unrecognizable extremes is a false interpretation that surrounds today’s narrative regarding Islam”, writes Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch. The greater overall threat this misconception poses is neglected because of fear and outright denial to acknowledge what or who our enemy truly is. The more we lie to ourselves and allow our politicians, media and government officials to lie to us, the more we enable terrorists to become embolden. Spencer further notes, “we cannot possible defeat an enemy whom we refuse to understand, refuse...

Expatriate Iranian journalist Amir Taheri [1] has written an intriguing — and essential — “linguistic” analysis comparing the various diplomatic “framework” statements at the conclusion of the latest round of the deadline-challenged Iranian nuclear negotiations. The discordances range from nuanced but important grammatical differences [1] in how the Persian text delineates Iranian versus U.S. responsibilities, to the Persian and U.S. texts being “diametrically opposed [1].”It is these latter starkly contrasting representations that merit elaboration. As Taheri describes [1]: The U.S. declaration maintains Iran has consented not to use advanced centrifuges (i.e., the IR-2m centrifuges, which, as nuclear weapons non-proliferation...

Bombing, beheading, hijacking, mosque sermons — these are just a few of the instances where the proclamation “Allahu akbar” is shouted. But what does it really mean? The mainstream media tells us that the Islamic statement is a pledge of allegiance to the god of the Prophet Muhammad and is an admirable demonstration of faith and piety. It’s portrayed as a humble utterance of praise that is too often misused by jihadists during acts of terror. However, the real meaning behind the most controversial term of our time is much more sinister than the liberal left would have you believe.Recently,...

Pope Condemns Indifference To Jihadist Atrocities Against Christians April 4, 2015 at the Vatican Pope Francis condemned indifference and "complicit silence" to jihadist attacks on Christians as he presided over Easter ceremonies in the wake of a massacre of nearly 150 people at a Kenyan university by Shebab Islamists. The leader of the world's 1.2 billion Catholics brought up the extremist persecution of Christians as the holiest ceremonies of the Church calendar reached a climax Sunday, when believers celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. The Islamists behind Thursday's university attack that shocked Kenya are reported to have separated out their victims...

“We have come to be kill and be killed,” the Muslims screamed out as they shot the Christians. Where did they get the idea to scream out something like that? From the Qur’an: “Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed.” (9:111) Not that this has anything to do with Islam! Piles of bodies and pools of blood running down the corridors: survivors of the Kenya university massacre described how laughing gunmen taunted their victims amid scenes...

Protesters waving Australian flags and carrying signs such as "Yes Australia. No Sharia" rallied around the country on Saturday in events organisers said were against Islamic extremism. The "Reclaim Australia" events drew hundreds of supporters but also triggered counter-rallies from other groups who criticised them as racist and called for greater tolerance. "We are pro-Australian values and anti-extreme Islam, but we're not anti-Muslim," Reclaim Australia spokeswoman Catherine Brennan told AFP, adding there was no racism behind the rallies, which she said had attracted people from diverse backgrounds. "Since when is it being racist to love your country and to love...

Somalia's Islamic extremist group al-Shabab warned Saturday of more attacks in Kenya like the assault on Garissa University College that killed 148 people. "Kenyan cities will run red with blood," said al-Shabab according to the SITE intelligence monitoring group. The Islamic militants said the attack on Garissa college was in retaliation for killings carried out by Kenyan troops fighting the rebels in Somalia. "No amount of precaution or safety measures will be able to guarantee your safety, thwart another attack or prevent another bloodbath," said al-Shabab.
