Now, it appears that a group of Republican House members is seeking to repeal the legislation passed despite the governor’s veto. Reps. CHICAGO – Employers in Illinois can no longer access criminal background checks on potential hires until after an interview is conducted. Gov. Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach’s push to get tough on illegal immigration has apparently cost him the support of ranchers. The Kansas Livestock Association has come out in support of Kobach’s Republican challenger Scott Morgan in the Aug. 5 primary. The group says Kobach strays beyond the traditional roles of secretary of state by taking up issues such as immigration and blocking federal environmental protections of the lesser prairie chicken.

My son just completed his Freshman year of college, and is Moving out here to Texas with me and the wife for the summer. Where I live, there's tons of minimum wage jobs and I think he can get on pretty quickly. However, I think he should take advantage of the Texas BOOM Economy, and try to get something in either Construction or The Oil Patch.
