America watched her grow up on the series, which aired from 1957-62. From a family of young actors, she was recommended by Ronald Reagan for the role. Noreen Corcoran, who starred as the teenager adopted by her uncle (John Forsythe) on the 1950s-'60s sitcom Bachelor Father, has died. She was 72. Corcoran died Friday of cardiopulmonary disease at Valley Presbyterian in Van Nuys, her niece, author Mell Corcoran, told The Hollywood Reporter. The actress' younger brother, Kevin Corcoran, who appeared in the 1957 film Old Yeller and played Moochie on several Disney TV shows, died in October.

John Forsythe moved on to some movies..the Glass Web, Captive City and one of my favorites, Escape from Fort Bravo. He also was in a movie that was not only odd for John Forsythe, but also odd for Alfred Hitchcock. It was called "the Trouble with Harry". It's about a dead body that keeps showing up and disappearing again.

LOS ANGELES - "Dynasty" star John Forsythe has been treated for colon cancer and he's recovering at an area hospital, his spokesman said Thursday. Forsythe, 88, was diagnosed with colon cancer Sept. 28 and was taken to a hospital where he underwent treatment over the past week, Harlan Boll said. "He seems to be in good spirits," Boll said. "They hope to have him home this weekend." Forsythe is best known for playing Blake Carrington on the hit TV soap "Dynasty" and being the voice of Charlie in both the TV and film versions of "Charlie's Angels."
