St. Francis once said: “If you have men who will exclude any of God’s creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men.” This is the case every time. When someone is cruel to animals, they are cruel to human beings. In fact, Christianity is the best for the care of animals. Dozens of American-trained dogs were killed by a Kuwaiti-based company last week, according to multiple reports, though there are conflicting explanations for the deaths. While several news agencies reported the story, they fail to also report that...

There are ancient cave paintings depicting stories of dogs walking alongside man. The story goes back 20,000 years to the time of pre-agricultural hunter-gatherers. Being a K9 handler in the Military I got to do a few details involving Distinguished Visitors. Mostly Generals, DOD Officials, and Secretaries of Defense. I was lucky enough to pull two awesome details. George W Bush, and Obama. GW looked at me, said “Man, who’d you piss off” high fived me, and continued on. I was climbing down from a catwalk I stood on for 4 hours with nothing but Dust and a radio to keep me company. The radio died early on. It was pretty sweet. Obama, as he was walking out to his plane in Turkey, said...

Eric Bonner...the K9 serviceman offered on Facebook: Being a K9 handler in the Military I got to do a few details involving Distinguished Visitors. Mostly Generals, DOD Officials, and Secretaries of Defense... One of my Last details was for Hillary when she was Secretary of State. She was in Turkey for whatever reason. I helped with sweeps of her DV Quarters and staff vehicles. Her words to me? “Get that F**king dog away from me.” Then she turns to her Security Detail and berates them up and down about why that animal was in her quarters. For the next 20...

A former military K9 handler, tasked with protecting Hillary Clinton overseas while she was U.S. secretary of state, is now caught up in the dog-eat-dog world of politics after posting his opinion of the Democratic Party nominee for president on Facebook. “It has nothing to do with her views,” Eric Bonner wrote. “It really doesn’t even matter about all the laws she broke. “It’s because she actually talked to me once. Almost a sentence,” he said. In Bonner’s original Facebook post on July 28, he describes how Clinton once flew into a blind rage, berating him and her security detail...

In a darkened Iraqi suburb, Christmas Eve, 2006, a team of Navy SEALs moved quietly into position outside the home of a man known for training suicide bombers. The operation that night wasn’t unlike hundreds of others carried out by Naval Special Warfare Development Group during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. But it’s one Jimmy Hatch won’t ever forget. He’d later learn that no amount of alcohol could erase the memory. It was chilly, not quite cold enough to see your breath. As the operators prepared to raid the home, a husky man popped his head out of an...

Looks can be profoundly deceiving. At first glance, Tracy “Trace” Sargent could easily be a high-powered corporate CEO or lead a marketing firm. This petite Georgia blond with a commanding presence and the charisma and intellect to match, looks like she would fit elegantly at the head of a boardroom. You certainly don’t envision this refined, vibrant woman with a sweet Southern drawl to be out enthusiastically hunting lost persons, getting dirty, crawling through rubble, or chasing down fugitives by moonlight. Yet that is exactly what she has been doing with her K9 partners for over 20 years, gracefully shattering...
