Support for legalizing same-sex marriage dropped from 54 percent to 49 percent since February, according to a Pew Research Center poll. Analysts said they had no idea why or if it was just a random blip. I joked on Twitter that my April article “Rise of the Same-Sex Marriage Dissidents” probably was the cause. But in all seriousness, perhaps seeing the totalitarianism of extremist wings of the gay rights movement has soured some people on efforts to change marriage law — or at least given people pause about the tradeoffs involved with redefining marriage or enacting broad legislation around sexual...

Gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (MSM) make up 2 percent of the U.S. population but are the group most definitively affected by HIV, with 63 percent of those newly infected by HIV representing this group. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s weekly “Morbidity and Mortality” report shows that among persons newly infected with HIV in 2010, 63 percent were men who have sex with other men. Among Americans living with HIV, 52 percent were MSM – and a significant number of men with HIV are not receiving treatment. “Gay, bisexual, and other men who...

Justice Elena Kagan has officiated for the first time at a same-sex wedding, a Maryland ceremony for her former law clerk and his husband. Kagan presided on Sunday over the wedding of former clerk Mitchell Reich and Patrick Pearsall in the Washington suburb of Chevy Chase, Maryland. Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said Monday that the same-sex ceremony was the first at which Kagan officiated. Retired Justice Sandra Day O’Connor and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg have previously officiated at the wedding of gay and lesbian couples, including at the Supreme Court. How would you feel if your boss came into your office one day and asked if you are supportive of the “LGBT community”?Maybe you are sympathetic to gays who face discrimination but you do not support the overall agenda. Maybe you are a faithful Catholic who accepts the teaching of the Church on homosexuality, that it is disordered and if acted upon, mortally sinful. Maybe you are simply bone weary of the LGBTs jamming their message into your face and the faces of your children all day long. And there is the man who holds your job in his hands...

ACCENTURE LLP, the Obama Administration’s choice to take-over 'rescue operations' at Healthcare.gov, has a history of committing fraud, waste, and abuse in its contracts with other Federal agencies like the Department of Education and the United States Postal Service. Just seven months ago, the Postal Service Inspector General’s office issued a “Management Alert” to outline “potential fraud risks associated with Accenture Federal Services Contracting Practices…” In the June 2013 document, the Deputy Inspector General for the Postal Service recommended: “The Postal Service should consider Accenture for suspension or debarment and review existing contracts to determine whether the contracts warrant termination....

With employment prospects for college graduates as dismal as Barack Obama has made them, it’s hard to see how this makes sense. Brown University is planning to host a workshop called “Protect me from what I want” designed to help Black homosexuals overcome their “unapproved” attraction to Caucasian Gays. This is another example of the White liberal’s belief in their right of husbandry over all minorities especially Blacks. These people obviously see “managing” the lives of subgroups as their self-appointed job. While it’s plain that White liberals believe they should be able to tell anyone how to live their lives,...

Monday's meeting of the Capistrano Unified School District A school board should offer more fireworks than usual. At the meeting, Stan Wasbin, a father of four, plans to voice his complaint that local schools are becoming "re-education camps" because of an excessive focus on gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender issues, reports the San Juan Capistrano Patch. Wasbin, a resident of the seaside suburb of San Clemente, asked in a three-page letter that his concerns about the supposedly agenda-driven politicization of the school curriculum be placed on the official board agenda. Both the curriculum and Wasbin's missive come in response to...

The Salvation Army is under increasing attack from homosexual activists this Christmas season. The Christian organization is under fire for merely holding Christian beliefs on marriage and the family—it does not discriminate against anyone—and now the war has extended to a formal resolution by the Associated Students of the University of California at Berkeley calling for a ban of Salvation Army donation boxes on campus; university officials are considering the request. An organized effort to boycott the Salvation Army is also under way. A gay website, watermarkonline.com, is asking its readers nationwide not to give to the charitable organization. Gays...

Now that the Democratic National Committee has reversed its original stance and decided to allow New York Cardinal-Archbishop Timothy Dolan to deliver the closing prayer at the DNC convention next week, Buzzfeed is reporting that LGBT groups are upset with the decision. “While Cardinal Dolan has a respected track record in the ministry, his work to undercut the dignity of LGBT people cannot be overlooked. There are many faith leaders who would be an ideal fit to close out the Democratic National Convention — but Cardinal Timothy Dolan is not that leader,” said Michael Cole-Schwartz of the Human Rights Campaign....

Gay/Lesbian community is blaming both FoxNews and Mike Huckabee for their failure. That is documented in stories by the New York Daily News and Los Angeles Times. Of course, people may have been confused by the wording of the day: it was billed as Marriage Equality day. To the average person, what does Marriage Equality mean? Sounds like Double Speak. Facebook is one source for this story. National Marriage [promoted by Gays/Lesbians] Equality Day Another is the Los Angeles Times. New York Daily News is another: Gay marriage battle moves from Chick-fil-A to Starbucks as supporters plan ‘National Marriage Equality...

“It's not as bifurcated as male and female, again it will depend on how you define gender inclusive or gender neutral communities, so again we're too early in the process to say what it's going to look like or how we will define it,” said Hemlata Jhaveri, director of Residence Law at UT. According to Jhaveri, the discussion to allow men and women to co-habitate in the same campus dorm rooms began early this spring when a campus group called STANDOUT, advocates for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender student rights, approached the Residence Hall Association with the request.

In less than two months, school districts across the state will be operating under some of the strictest anti-bullying policies in the nation. Yet local school officials say they are still confused about some of the state requirements and are unclear on how some aspects of the policies will be implemented. What's more, they say, the potential workload brought on by the new regulations could inundate schools, which in many cases are operating on leaner staffs than they were a few years ago. Before the start of the school year in September, districts must adopt individual anti-bullying policies, although much...

June has traditionally been a month of honoring fathers, soldiers and patriots now thanks to the social engineering of Barack Obama we have a whole month to celebrate lesbians, bi-sexuals, gays and transgenders. In America there will be about 290 million people who will likely not be rushing out to observe this month long celebration. Barack Obama proclaimed June as LBGT month saying he has partnered with the gay community to “Advance a wide range if initiatives.” He plans to enhance hate crimes, repeal “don’t ask – don’t tell in the military and advance the right for gays to adopt.

Common Learning Agenda Blues by: Malcolm A. Kline, January 08, 2008 Those who argue that colleges and universities lack standards may be incorrect but only technically. “Under the current curriculum guidelines, students must take four humanities and two social science classes that could include history and political science,” Bucknell’s Nick Mozal writes of that Pennsylvania university’s “Common Learning Agenda.” “However, there is no course requirement to teach students the core history and cultural heritage of the United States.” “Students have difficulty even finding such a course.” Mozal presides over the Bucknell University Conservatives Club, which publishes The Counterweight newspaper, in...

A "gay rights for LBGT families" group plans on creating a public relations firestorm by crashing the annual White House Easter Egg hunt. A group calling itself Soulforce is arranging the event, hoping to steal the spotlight for their groups agenda. "The media will be there (they are always there for the egg roll) and millions of Americans--many for the first time--will meet our families," the Soulforce email explained. "This is an amazing opportunity to reach homes in blue states and red states with positive images of our families participating in this great American family tradition."

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- A golfer who was born a hermaphrodite was banned from a woman's tournament because her birth certificate lists her gender as male. Instead, 40-year-old Danielle Swope will play in Saturday's qualifier for the Fort Wayne Men's City Tournament. "I have respect for the men for at least giving me the opportunity to play. The women I don't have any respect for," Swope said in The Journal Gazette on Sunday. Swope said she was born in Meridian, Miss., with both male and female reproductive organs and underwent gender-reassignment operations to become completely female. But her Mississippi birth...
