Liz Cheney was roundly defeated at the polls on Tuesday evening, a welcome retribution for her active participation in the kangaroo court known as the January 6th Committee hearings. During her concession speech, she metaphorically wrapped herself in the American Flag, proudly proclaiming that she stands on the side of Democracy. But, as Mark points out, she's always been a never-Trumper. And her claims of standing for Democracy are nothing but lies.

Following her humiliating defeat in Tuesday’s Wyoming primary elections, soon-to-be-former Rep. Liz Cheney gave one of the most comically narcissistic speeches by a politician in recent memory. Despite losing to Trump-endorsed Harriet Hageman by more than 30 points, Cheney thought it was fitting not only to forecast a potential run for president in 2024 but to do so while comparing herself to former President Abraham Lincoln.

“The great and original champion of our party, Abraham Lincoln, was defeated in elections for the Senate and House before he won the most important election of all,” she said before an audience of...

The Cornell University Library has removed a bust of President Abraham Lincoln and a bronze plaque of the Gettysburg Address after reportedly receiving a complaint. Randy Wayne, a professor of biology at Cornell, said the library had removed the display, which had been there since 2013, after "someone complained," the College Fix reported . In a statement to the Washington Examiner, university spokeswoman Rebecca Valli said the bust of Lincoln "was part of a temporary exhibit on the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address" and that it had been on display from 2013-2021. With the display gone, only an empty...

“Someone complained, and it was gone.” That’s all Cornell University biology Professor Randy Wayne said he has been able to determine so far about the whereabouts of a longtime display in the Ivy League school’s Kroch Library of a bust of President Abraham Lincoln in front of a bronzed Gettysburg Address plaque. Wayne, a frequent visitor to the library, which houses Cornell’s rare and manuscript collections, said when he stopped in several weeks ago he noticed the display had been disappeared. “It’s been there since I can remember,” he told The College Fix in an interview. He asked the librarians...

A professor at Cornell University says the school’s library has removed a bronzed Gettysburg Address plaque and a bust of President Abraham Lincoln after somebody complained. “Someone complained, and it was gone,” Cornell professor Randy Wayne (said), referring to a Gettysburg Address plaque and Lincoln bust that had been on display in the Ivy League university’s Kroch Library since 2013. The professor said that he had noticed that the items were gone after stopping by the library several weeks ago, adding that when he asked the librarians about it, they were unable to give any details, other than saying it...

From a dissident perspective, watching the fights within what they still insist on calling the conservative movement is a lot like watching a bum fight. The two journeymen fighters are paired up to see who will get to be the champ’s next victim. The fight may be entertaining, as long as you do not think too much about the fact that neither guy has a future beyond being a punching bag for the elite fighters. These disputes are not without value. Granted, what comes from them will never be a genuine alternative to the progressive orthodoxy, but it offers some...

Rick Wilson, a top adviser to the Lincoln Project, which is a left-wing super PAC, said recently an upcoming campaign would target Republicans such as Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) and their corporate donors. According to Wilson, the group was planning to shell out a few million dollars for the campaign, the Washington Post reported May 23.

The Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., was shut down Saturday morning after a crowd of seniors from Georgetown University left broken bottles and spilled wine on the monument's steps. Hundreds of students had gathered to watch the sunrise Saturday after the senior ball on Friday. A few took a dip in the Reflecting Pool. The National Park Service announced a brief delay in accessibility to the Lincoln Memorial, saying the group had left debris in the area

Cancel culture has now reached President Abraham Lincoln, the man who wrote the Emancipation Proclamation declaring enslaved people “shall be then, thenceforward, and forever free.” Democrat Rep. Jamie Becker-Finn (DFL-Roseville) complained about Lincoln’s presence on the House floor this week during a debate on an education bill. “We are asked to serve, we serve in this body, we have to look at President Lincoln every day we are in this space.”

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts released a column Tuesday continuing to oppose the Biden-Harris administration’s environmental policies. “Nebraskans don’t need the Biden-Harris Administration lecturing us on the environment,” Ricketts said. “Our farmers, ranchers, businesses, and homeowners have proven their ability to responsibly use the natural resources we’ve been blessed with here in Nebraska.” Ricketts signed an executive order last year to push back on the Biden administration’s conservation plan, specifically his 30×30 plan. President Joe Biden’s 2021 executive order outlined a goal to conserve at least 30% of the country’s land and water by 2030. The initiative...

The Charlottesville City Council rebuked the Lincoln Project on Thursday over a tiki torch stunt the group organized last week to protest a campaign event for Virginia Gov.-elect Glenn Youngkin (R). In a letter to Lincoln Project co-founder Steve Schmidt, the Charlottesville City Council said the anti-Trump activist group "tore open a still-healing wound in Charlottesville" with the stunt. The council further criticized the group, stating, “Your post-demonstration press release promised the potential for more such painful memories.

Everyone knows there are good times and bad times, but how did things get this way? It’s a mystery that has kept the greatest minds scratching their heads since the beginning of time. Time flies, marches on, and sometimes just stands still. You can buy time, be on borrowed time, or run out of time, but there’s a first time for everything, and the third time’s the charm. As Ancient laws may be revered; brand new laws can only aspire to reverence. An infant can be loved and cherished, even wondered at, but only with the ripeness of years can...

The Lincoln Project said on Friday that it would be filing an ethics complaint against Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) for allegedly taking part in a Breitbart News interview this month at a university football stadium. The anti-Trump organization claimed that the University of Texas at Austin allowed conservative news outlet Breitbart News to conduct an interview with Abbott this month at their football stadium. The Lincoln Project said that one month earlier, they were allegedly told by the university that an ad critical of Abbott’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, which was supposed to air on ESPN during a...
