It is an election year, so the news concerns elections. But not just the candidates, the campaigns, and the issues… if you look closely, you’ll also find news about the election process itself, how it is changing, and how it is being corrupted… sometimes in secret, sometimes as blatantly as can be imagined. This week, for example, we learned of Willie Wilson, a Chicago millionaire running for mayor. He’s a generous man; he writes checks and throws around hundred-dollar bills at Chicago speaking events like Shriners throw candy at parades. He says he views it as charity; nobody has a...

Missing in action for 67 years, the remains of U.S. Army Corporal Terrell J. Fuller were returned to Toccoa, Georgia Thursday for the first time since the Korean War. Fuller went missing in South Korea in February 1951 after supporting the Republic of Korea in a battle against the Chinese People's Volunteer Forces. He was later presumed captured and killed in 1954. His remains were held on the Korean peninsula until April 2018 when they were sent to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency in Honolulu, Hawaii. Employees were able to confirm the remains were those of Cpl. Fuller. Fuller's remains...

Philadelphia is one of the so-called sanctuary cities in the United States. These are jurisdictions that are striving for the status of “no-go” zones in Sweden and Britain or trying to be French banlieue where the writ of national law does not run. In fact, Philly’s mayor, James Kenney, was so excited when a federal judge upheld his decision to refuse to allow federal immigration law to be enforced in Philadelphia that he did a small, orgasmic jig The price of his decision and that of his predecessor is now available for all to see and marvel at: U.S. Attorney...

Ever want to be a longshore worker? Now’s your chance. The workers load and unload ships and move cargo around ports. Full-time jobs pay an average of $175,000 a year and include a benefits package costing more than $110,000, according to the Pacific Maritime Association. But to get to that point you have to start somewhere. The Pacific Maritime Association, which represents shipping lines and terminal operators at West Coast ports, is hiring part-time workers in Tacoma — the first time in several years. Shipping traffic, and the associated work, ebbs and flows. During high traffic times, the shipping lines...

NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-- Seventy-seven years have passed since North Platte first welcomed troops at the Canteen with some food and kindness. That spirit of generosity and patriotism still carries on today and the recent community effort to feed 700 U.S. Army men and women passing through the area is proof. The two-day effort on Monday and Tuesday to serve up a tasty meal for our troops had to be kept quiet for security reasons; but, now News 2 has permission to share about the community effort behind the Canteen revival. Roll up your sleeves because the truth is getting deep. The Dead Duck District Attorney Able Reyna is clinging on to power as we gladly watch the walls of lies and corruption come tumbling down. Able Reyna had in mind for his future sight on Texas Attorney General or Texas Governor back in 2015, until he lost the primary election in Spring of 2018. He wanted the notoriety that he would be the first elected public official to take down” Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs” by the droves. Instead what we see here is the first Elected Official that will go down...

“I’m confused,” says Leftist Democrat Sen. Mazie Hirono of Hawaii as ICE Official Matthew Albence tries heroically to explain to her that Illegal Immigrants have broken the Law! She argues with him that they have not actually broken the Law – only as defined by President Trump. Albence responds to her strongly, “No Ma’am, they are there for violation of Title 8 of the U.S. Nationality Act.” Yes, the Democrats are at best “confused.” . . .

A new facility in North Texas is starting up its production line for some of the technology that powers the Apple iPhone X's latest features. Silicon Valley-based Finisar has hired 200 people and begun operations at a new plant in Sherman, a city about 65 miles north of Dallas. The facility produces vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers, or VCSELs, that are used in smartphones. The lasers enable some of the iPhone X's features, such as facial recognition that unlocks the phone, a portrait mode that takes professional-looking photos and a tool that creates animated emojis based on the user's facial expressions.
