A convicted killer who used a narwhal tusk to help bring down the London Bridge terrorist has spoken about the attack as well as his 'deep regret' for a murder that saw him locked up for life. Steve Gallant, 43, chased and helped pin down jihadist knifeman Usman Khan, 28, during the 2019 terror incident. The terrorist killed graduates Jack Merritt and Saskia Jones at the event in Fishmonger's Hall before running out onto London Bridge. Gallant was jailed for 17 years in 2005 for the murder of Barrie Jackson in Hull and was attending a rehabilitation event when fellow...

FEATURE — Anyone wanting a dose of authentic European architecture and ambiance does not have to hop on a plane and “cross the pond” but drive just over four hours south of St. George to what one writer called “The largest antique ever sold.” That large antique is the London Bridge, which is now located in Lake Havasu City in northwestern Arizona. It’s not the original London Bridge, nor is it one that inspired the nursery rhyme or song. Even so, it is an impressive sight in the United States. A series of bridges have spanned the River Thames in...

A convicted murderer who helped to stop the London Bridge terror attack last November will have his sentence cut after the Queen intervened. Steven Gallant, 42, was on day release at an event for reformed prisoners in Fishmongers' Hall when Usman Khan began his attack. Gallant, armed only with a Narwhal tusk, helped to restrain Khan, who was wearing a fake suicide vest and was armed with two knives.

A mysterious figure who used a rare narwhal tusk to help subdue a knife-wielding extremist on London Bridge last month has been identified as a civil servant in Britain’s Justice Ministry. Darryn Frost ended his silence Saturday, telling Britain’s Press Association that he and others reacted instinctively when Usman Khan started stabbing people at a prison rehabilitation program at a hall next to the bridge on Nov. 29. SNIP “When we heard the noise from the floor below, a few of us rushed to the scene,” the 38-year-old said. “I took a narwhal tusk from the wall and used it...

LONDON — A police officer shot and killed a man wearing a fake bomb on London Bridge on Friday, after several people were stabbed in what the police called a terrorist incident, which paralyzed one of the busiest arteries through the city. The chaotic clash, in a country where shootings are rare, involved several officers and civilians, and sent scores of people fleeing from the bridge and areas near it on both sides of the River Thames. It also revived memories of recent terrorist attacks in London, including one on the same bridge in 2017 that killed eight people. “It...

London's Southwark Cathedral hosted its second annual "Grand Iftar Service" on Sunday evening, marking the anniversary of the London Bridge terror attack last year. In addition to the 11 a.m. Eucharist service, the church also held a 3 p.m. Service of Commemoration for the attack, and an 8 p.m. service to celebrate the Muslim service. The Iftar service stood out, however, as it marked the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. It has not yet been reported whether or not the prayers associated with Ramadan were performed inside the cathedral, which would be a serious violation of Christian holy space. Hosting...

A police officer has told how he fought off the three London Bridge attackers with his baton despite being temporarily blinded in one eye after he was stabbed in the head. Speaking publicly for the first time since the terrorist attack earlier this month, Wayne Marques, who received several major knife wounds, said the adrenaline prevented him from realising how badly he had been injured. He said he took a deep breath and charged at the first attacker, swinging at him “with everything I had as hard as I could, straight through his head, trying to go for a knockout...

Seven people were killed and at least 48 others were injured on the London Bridge and Borough Market this past weekend in yet another terrorist attack. This is the new normal in Europe. Especially London. But it didn’t have to be. Three Islamic jihadists mowed down pedestrians then hopped out to randomly stab victims with 12-inch knives. Cutting throats and causing panic, the police shot dead the terrorists within eight minutes of the first reports. But the damage was already done. This attack comes just 12 days after the Manchester concert attack and 10 weeks after the Westminster incident near...

At about 10pm British Summer Time on Saturday night, the London Bridge area was the scene of a series of vehicle attacks and stabbings. So my scheduled conversational topic with Judge Jeanine on Fox News was replaced by yet another discussion about terrorism. We'll link to any video that gets posted. I'll be back on Fox with Abby, Pete and Clayton tomorrow morning, Sunday, live at 8am Eastern/5am Pacific. As I write, six members of the public are dead, and three attackers. I'm wary of weighing in as the situation is unfolding, but, though the details are always different, in...

If you ever want to know who may be behind a crime or terror attack, listen to the words of most of the PC media. They will come right out and identify a suspect if that person is white and has an Anglo-sounding name. However if you don't get that identifier (or heaven forbid, "profile"), it's either a minority or in the case of a terror attack, you'll have to wait a few hours or more into their coverage before you hear the words "Islam" or "Muslim", if at all.

Investigation into foreign funding and support of jihadi groups operating in UK understood to focus on Saudi Arabia ___ An investigation into the foreign funding and support of jihadi groups that was authorised by David Cameron may never be published, the Home Office has admitted. The inquiry into revenue streams for extremist groups operating in the UK was commissioned by the former prime minister and is thought to focus on Saudi Arabia, which has repeatedly been highlighted by European leaders as a funding source for Islamist jihadis. The investigation was launched as part of a deal with the Liberal Democrats...

Prior to the June 3 London terror attacks a pro-ISIS channel sent out a meme urging Islamists touse trucks to “kill the civilians of the Crusaders.” The meme also urged Islamists to use guns and knives. Details of the attack remain unclear, but CBS Philadelphia reports that the attackers ran through the restaurant at Borough Market after driving a van into pedestrians on London Bridge. Witnesses said the attackers entered the restaurant yelling “This is for Allah!” and stabbed random Londoners.

'At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is "no reason to be alarmed!"' Trump tweeted. Trump also used the attack as an opportunity to address critics of US gun laws. Shortly after his tweet about Khan, he hit out at calls for tighter gun laws in the US, noting that the London attackers didn't use firearms in their attack.
