Two separate shooting incidents in Los Angeles have provoked angry responses from crowds of people. In both cases, dozens of officers were rushed to the scene to quell the disturbance. On Wednesday night, a crowd became angry over the response of paramedics after they covered up the body of shooting victim Nahun Beiard while he appeared to still be moving. They demanded that paramedics remove the sheet and attempt to revive him. Fire officials said the paramedics tried, but were unable to resuscitate him. INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Authorities found at least five bodies in a Southern California house Monday after a standoff with a man who had barricaded himself inside the home. The dead included adults and children, Inglewood police Lt. Bill Thompson said. Investigators discovered the bodies just before 3 p.m. Authorities did not know how long the victims had been dead, Thompson said.

LOS ANGELES -- Police are investigating the shooting death of a woman who was waiting for a bus Tuesday afternoon in South Los Angeles. The woman was shot at about 2 p.m. at a bus stop near 94th Street and Western Avenue. Authorities said the woman was in her 60s. They did not release the victim's name. LA HABRA — Two La Habra police officers wounded during a traffic stop were recovering today but the gunman who allegedly shot them was in critical condition following a shootout with other officers, authorities said. PALMDALE, Calif. (AP) - A 13-year-old boy allegedly killed a 15-year-old by hitting him in the head with a bat during an argument at the end of a Pony League baseball game, authorities said Wednesday. The 15-year-old was pronounced dead at a hospital following the attack, which occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Alba Yates said. The younger boy was not immediately arrested but he was detained in custody at a sheriff's station, Yates said. The boys' identities were not immediately released.
