Columnist contends Americans no longer care about Israeli-Palestinian conflict and this could eventually hurt Israel's national security interests. Putting aside the many intricacies of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, are the settlements really the main reason why there is no peace between Israel and the Palestinians?
