I am not particularly a birther, but I looked at what Obama produced today. It lists "kapiolani maternity gynecological hospital" as the hospital of birth. It looks like this was never the actual name of the hospital --- Kapi‘olani Maternity Home and Kauikeolani Children's Hospital merged to form the hospital at issue --- in 1978, some 11 years after Obama's birth. The Westlaw records do not list prior names like a lot of states, so there may be something, but I would encourage someone to go look at the physical Hawaii Secretary of State records and figure out when the...
