The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) recently published a set of regulations set to be implemented on December 15 that will crack down on internet users for “liking” posts deemed “harmful” or “illegal.” The guidelines, published on the CAC’s website, also demand all social media platforms – already heavily censored and regulated – develop a social credit system to rate users based on their opinions, likes, and other interactions with sites. The CAC is the online censorship arm of Chinese dictator Xi Jinping’s communist regime.

18 mins. long. Reviews the Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Samarkand, 15-16 September 2022. This is all about de dollarization which is moving ahead rapidly. Over half of the world's population represented in this movement to replace American hegemony and American financial control of the world via the "reserve currency, petro dollar." SCO participants are engaging in trade and financing agreements which will change the world. The U.S. is trying to resist the changes by creating conflicts, chaos and involved in creating military conflicts, color revolutions, etc. -------------------------- Side note: The New Atlas:...

Up to 40 million Chinese people still live in caves. That's more than the populations of Texas and Illinois, combined. In fairness, a fraction of these caves are apparently pretty nice, complete with electricity and well-compacted dirt floors. But that's grading on a curve because, well, they're still caves. Meanwhile, 21 million Chinese live below what the Communist Party calls the "absolute poverty" line. That sounds pretty good if you have in mind our poverty line, which is just under $11,000 per year for an individual and roughly $22,000 for a family of four. The absolute poverty rate in China...

Chinese President Hu Jintao's visit to Washington for a nuclear security summit this week is the latest sign of a warming in relations with President Barack Obama's administration that looks set to continue in the months ahead.

In her first major speech as secretary of state, Mrs. Clinton drew a clear line between the Obama administration’s approach and that of the Bush White House, which viewed China more as a rival than a partner and kept relations fixed on economic matters like exchange rates. “Some believe that China on the rise is by definition an adversary,” she said at the Asia Society in New York on the eve of a trip to China and other Asian countries. “To the contrary, we believe the United States and China benefit from, and contribute to, each other’s successes.”

Former Russian President Boris Yeltsin committed to promoting a new international policy based on "multipolarity" -- the creation of competing centers of power as a response to perceived U.S. dominance. The state-run media in Russia and China often point to "U.S. hegemonism" and "U.S. power politics," and call for the "establishment of a new international order" under United Nations tutelage...

I first began working with Robert Locke when I was editor of David Horowitz's FrontPageMagazine.com. Locke was then a highly original thinker, who offered daring, unapologetic defenses of the nation-state and the imperial West. Alas, poor Locke has been incorporated into the Borg -- which is to say that he now writes for Pat Buchanan's American Conservative. If Locke's latest production for that magazine, "Nation-Busting: The Trouble with Globalism" is any indication, I fear that Mr. Locke's famously independent spirit may have been tamed by the commissars of what I call "paleo-parasitism." And that is sad. Locke's article contains two...
